The story of ideXlab began in London around 2009-2010 when I realized that our teams in telecommunications and the energy sector were unknowingly working on the same problems. To ensure such insights wouldn’t be lost, the idea of ideXlab was born. Created in Paris with three friends and former colleagues, ideXlab aims to facilitate innovation by sharing knowledge and fostering dialogue between the scientific community and industry. We developed a platform using Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and Machine Learning to harness the resources of the web and specialized databases. After launching a first version in 2016 and receiving valuable customer feedback, we introduced a more fluid and feature-rich version in 2019. Today, with over 20 Fortune 500 clients and numerous SMEs, our team continues to grow as we advance the Open Innovation adventure.
In 2022, idexlab was acquired by GAC Group, a leading consulting firm specializing in innovation and R&D strategy. This acquisition strengthens our ability to offer comprehensive open innovation solutions, combining idexlab’s advanced technology platform with GAC Group’s expertise in innovation management and funding. Together, we empower organizations to accelerate their innovation processes and achieve greater impact.
