    Abstract:

    Through the requirement analysis of hospital management, the paper elaborates the necessity and feasibility of hospital informatization from the traditional information management to knowledge management based on the hospital information system (HIS hereafter). With the discussion of knowledge management mechanisms and characteristics of Wiki, a Wiki & HIS-based Application Mode of hospital knowledge management is put forward with a case of the clinician combined with his practical Application. This solution can organically match the e-commerce service Mode and the techniques of Web2.0 to the requirement of hospital knowledge management, and is helpful to construct the new dynamic, open, distributed and service-oriented hospital information system.

  • Effects of Application Mode of self-etching primer on shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets

    Abstract:

    Abstract Objectives To compare the effects of Application Mode of one self-etching adhesive on the shear bond strength of metallic orthodontic brackets. Methods Seventy-five healthy bovine incisors were divided into 5 groups (n = 15). The self-etching primer (Transbond Plus, 3M Unitek) was applied on the enamel actively and passive for 0 (control), 5 and 10 s, followed by air jet Application and light cured for 10 s (600 mW/cm2). The metal brackets were bonded with adhesive (Transbond XT) and light cured for 20 s each proximal surface (mesial and distal). The shear bond strength was determined after water storage at 37 °C for 24 h. The specimens were tested using a universal testing machine (Instron 3342). Once debonded, each specimen was examined to identify the failure Mode. The bond strength data were subjected to One-way Anova and Tukey tests (α = 0.05) and failure Mode data were analyzed by Kruskal–Wallis test (α = 0.05). Results No significant difference in bond strength was found between 5 groups. Increasing the Application time and applying agitation of self-etching primers did not affect the shear bond strength (p = 0.487). There were no differences between failure Mode values in all tested groups (p = 0.88) and score 1 was predominant. Conclusions The shear bond strength of the self-etching adhesive is not influenced by the Application Mode.

  • Effect of filler and Application Mode on micro-shear bond strength of etch-and-rinse adhesive systems

    Abstract:

    Abstract Objective To evaluate the effect of the Application Modes and the presence of filler of etch-and-rinse adhesive systems on the micro-shear bond strength test (μSBS) to bovine dentin. Methods Twenty bovine teeth had the enamel removed and dentin surface exposed. Dentin was etched with 37% phosphoric acid and the following adhesive systems were applied: One Step and One Step Plus with two Modes (no rubbing action and vigorous rubbing action). To each tooth six Tygon cylinders with internal 0.76 mm were filled with flowable composite resin. All cylinders were light polymerized for 40 s (Optilux 501). The μSBS was performed in a universal testing machine (Instron 5565), with specimens held in place by a wire (0.2 mm) loop, and force loaded to failure. The fracture Mode was evaluated. The results in MPa were statistically analyzed by two-way ANOVA and Holm–Sidak tests (α = 0.05). Results The two-way ANOVA detected no interactions between factors (p = 0.865), but only differences between the adhesive systems (p = 0.042) and Application Modes (p = 0.014). One Step Plus obtained a higher μSBS than One Step, and vigorous Application increased bond strength of adhesives systems. The predominant failure Modes of all groups were adhesive-mixed. Conclusion The adhesive systems showed the best μSBS results with presence of filler and active Mode Application.

    Abstract:

    To provide global guidance for the further study of cloud manufacturing, the strategies needed of cloud manufacturing Application Mode were studied from four aspects of business concept, platform, technology and security. Cloud manufacturing’s new ideas such as regional cloud manufacturing platform, refactoring technology areas and cloud security strategy were put forward. A cloud manufacturing Application Mode was created, and its functional requirement was analyzed and parts of its Mode functions were exploited. Further development and Application prospect of cloud manufacturing were summarized.
