FITOSSOCIOLOGIA DE UMA FLORESTA DE TERRA FIRME NA AMAZÔNIA SUL-OCIDENTAL, RONDÔNIA, BRASIL

Foram registrados 10679 indivíduos, sendo 89,1% árvores e 10,9% palmeiras, referentes a 196 táxons, dos quais 176 foram identificados em nível específico, distribuídos em 47 famílias e 136 gêneros. Quanto ao Índice de Valor de Importância Familiar (IVIF), os maiores valores foram apresentados pelas famílias Chrysobalanaceae, Arecaceae, Fabaceae, Rubiaceae, Lecythidaceae e Burseraceae. Em termos de riqueza de espécies, as famílias mais representativas foram Fabaceae, Arecaceae, Moraceae, Rubiaceae, Melastomataceae e Urticaceae, representando 42% da riqueza local. Os índices de diversidade de Shanon-Weaver (H’ = 3,81) e de similaridade florística calculada pelo índice de Sorensen (variando de 6 a 81%) indicam que a floresta não é muito diversificada, considerando-se o bioma amazônico, mas ainda assim com alta variabilidade da composição de espécies entre as parcelas. Chrysobalanaceae, Arecaceae, Fabaceae, Rubiaceae, Lecythidaceae and Burseraceae showed highest values of IVIF. Fabaceae, Arecaceae, Moraceae, Rubiaceae, Melastomataceae and Urticaceae were most representative in terms of species richness, gathering 42% of local richness. It was set up a multifactorial split plot design with two blocks (High mortality-2.5 % and Low mortality-0.01 %), three plots (Inter palm lines, bordering area and jungle), and three sub-plots, in which the number of insects hosted per unit of plant species was evaluated. Twenty eight plant species classified within eighteen familieswere identified.L. curvatus was found in: Fabaceae, Marantaceae, Arecaceae, Heliconiaceae, Cyclanthaceae, Asteraceae, and Musaceae; M. reticulare was found in: Urticaceae, Asteraceae, Araceae, Commelinaceae, Arecaceae, Musaceae, Poaceae and Fabaceae. The families reservoirs of Phytomonas sp. in the stated of Tripomastigote were: Euphorbiaceae and Arecaceae, while in the state of Amastigote were; Musaceae, Araceae, Alismataceae, Poaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Heliconiaceae, and Marantaceae. Key words: Elaeis guineensis, Elaeis oleifera, Hosts, Lincus, Macropygium, Pentatomidae, Phytomonas sp., Sudden wilt, Vector.Se estudiaron las especies vegetales circundantes a la palma aceitera que actúan como hospedantes de Lincus curvatus Campos & Roell y Macropygium reticulare Fabricius y portadoras de Phytomonas sp. en los estados de Tripomastigote y Amastigote en la provincia Orellana, Ecuador. Se estableció un experimento con un Diseño de Parcelas Divididas trifactorial, con dos bloques (Alta Mortalidad 2,5 %, Baja mortalidad 0,01 %), tres parcelas principales (Entrelínea, Bordura y Selva) y tres subparcelas, en las que se evaluó el número de insectos hospedados por unidad de especie vegetal. Se identificaron 28 especies vegetales clasificadas en 18 familias. L. curvatus se halló en representantes de las familias Fabaceae, Marantaceae, Arecaceae, Heliconiaceae, Cyclanthaceae, Asteraceae, Musaceae; mientras queM. reticulare estaba presente en especies de Urticaceae, Asteraceae, Araceae, Commelinaceae, Arecaceae, Musaceae, Poaceae, Fabaceae. Las familias reservorios de Phytomonas sp. en estado Tripomastigote fueron: Euphorbiaceae y Arecaceae; mientras que en estado Amastigote se presentó en las familias Musaceae, Araceae, Alismataceae, Poaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Heliconiaceae y Marantaceae. La mayor población de L. curvatus se encontró en la parcela Selva y M. reticulare se halló en la parcela Entrelínea. Here we report an assembly of the coconut (C. nucifera, Oman local Tall cultivar) mitochondrial (mt) genome based on next-generation sequencing data. This genome, 678,653bp in length and 45.5% in GC content, encodes 72 proteins, 9 pseudogenes, 23 tRNAs, and 3 ribosomal RNAs. Within the assembly, we find that the chloroplast (cp) derived regions account for 5.07% of the total assembly length, including 13 proteins, 2 pseudogenes, and 11 tRNAs. The mt genome has a relatively large fraction of repeat content (17.26%), including both forward (tandem) and inverted (palindromic) repeats. Sequence variation analysis shows that the Ti/Tv ratio of the mt genome is lower as compared to that of the nuclear genome and neutral expectation. By combining public RNA-Seq data for coconut, we identify 734 RNA editing sites supported by at least two datasets. In summary, our data provides the second complete mt genome sequence in the family Arecaceae, essential for further investigations on mitochondrial biology of seed plants.
