angiotensin i converting enzyme inhibitor improves decreased endothelial function in elderly hypertensive patients with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans
Hypertension, 2000Co-Authors: Hiroshi Okuma, Shigeto Morimoto, Shoroku Sakurai, Miyuki Onishi, Toshio Onishi, Toshio OgiharaAbstract:P123 Endothelial function in elderly hypertensive patients with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans (ASO) has not been evaluated. In this study, we examined whether endothelial function is impaired, and whether antihypertensive agents affect the vasodilatory responses, in elderly hypertensive patients (83 + 8 years) without (n=46) and with (n=24) ASO (ankle-brachial pressure index

THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCES OF INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPY FOR Arteriosclerosis Obliterans
Modern Preventive Medicine, 2009Co-Authors: Zhang Guo-zhiAbstract:[Objective] To evaluate the rationality of individualized surgical procedures in terms of Arteriosclerosis oblit-erans.[Methods] 69 cases with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans(ASO) who underwent surgical therapy during recent 7 years were retrospectively reviewed about their clinical types and surgical way.[Results] Patients were underwent endovascular treatment, operation by pass, endovascular treatment with operation by pass, extra anatomic bypass graft or profundaplasty according to their diseases, and all of them showed to be favorable effect.[Conclusion] The risk of patients with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans could be reduced, and the prognosis could be improved through individualized therapy. The individualized therapy for arte-riosclerosis Obliterans which was designed and evaluated before operation is worthy of great clinical application.

Complex surgery therapy for complicated Arteriosclerosis Obliterans
Journal of Gannan Medical University, 2015Co-Authors: Liu Jian-pinAbstract:Objective: To investigate the feasibility, surgical methods and efficacy of complex surgery of Arteriosclerosis Obliterans. Methods: A retrospective analysis of vascular surgery of 25 cases with hybridization Arteriosclerosis Obliterans from 2011 ~ 2014 in our hospital. Results: Among the 25 cases, there were no operative mortality, surgical success rate of96%( 24 /25),surgical success group of 24 patients were significantly improved, symptoms of intermittent claudication, numbness, pain efficiency were 100%,85% and 81% respectively after treatment, and ABI,maximum walking distance change obviously improved( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The composite surgery for complex patients with Arteriosclerosis Obliterans is safe and effective with better clinical results.
