  • The clinical effect of permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker and long-term follow-up observation
    Sichuan Medical Journal, 2013
    Co-Authors: Shi Zhao-yu
    Abstract:

Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect of permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker and long-term follow-up results. Methods 308 cases with the implantation of a permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker admitted to our hospital from March 2009 to August 2011 were chosen. The clinical effect after the implanted surgery was observed and the followed up tracking were observed. The long-term effects of the implantation of a permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker were observed. Results The clinical symptoms after the implantation of a permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker were significantly improved and the number of patients of atrial fibrillation was significantly reduced. The value of LVEF after treatment was significantly improved, compared between the two groups, there were significant differences(P0.01).Patients in exercise tolerance and quality of life were significantly improved and improved. There were 36 cases of complications in the follow-up tracking course of treatment, and the complication rate was 11.7%.Conclusion The permanent Artificial Heart Pacemaker can effectively treat patients with various diseases caused by Heart bradycardia in clinical symptoms and improve the treatment of the patient′s life.Long-term treatment is better, and with fewer complications.

  • Electromagnetic interference on Artificial Heart Pacemaker
2008 IEEE International RF and Microwave Conference, 2008
Co-Authors: Shafrida Sahrani, N. Semangin, S. Suhaili, Mohd Shahril Osman, Marini Sawawi
    Abstract:

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) due to radio frequency (RF) is known to cause interference in electronics devices. Interference may cause devices such as Pacemaker to malfunctions with potentially adverse consequences. Exposure of electromagnetic interference comes from digital cellular telephones that are commonly used nowadays. This paper describes the preliminary case study on the effect of the EMI interference with a Pacemaker. Temperatures were calculated at various frequencies to investigate the effect. Higher temperatures may cause discomfort to the patient.

  • Nursing care of patients performing with Artificial permanent cardiac Pacemaker
Journal of Xinxiang Medical College, 2007
    Co-Authors: Zhang Lin-lin
    Abstract:

Objective To investigate the nursing care of implantation of Artificial Heart Pacemaker. Methods Clinical data and nursing experience of 62 patients with implantation of Artificial Heart Pacemaker from 2000 to 2005.Results Among 62 patients,2 case were sac haematoma. No complication occurred. All the patients were obtained satisfactory results by careful cure and nursing care. Conclusion Sufficient preoperative preparation, efficiently and full-scale postoperative nursing observation in time, and precise health guidance, with which the complications can be avoided and the recovery of patients can be promoted.

  • Effects of Music Therapy in Improving Fatigue and Anxiety Conditions in Patients with Artificial Heart Pacemaker
Nursing Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army, 2010
    Co-Authors: Su Kan
    Abstract:

Objective To explore the effects of music therapy in improving the fatigue and anxiety in patient with Artificial Heart Pacemaker. Methods Sixty patients with Artificial Heart Pacemaker in the department of cardiology from November 2008 to March 2009 were followed up and then equally randomized into the control treated with health education and routine psychological support and the observational group(n=30) with music therapy based on health education and routine psychological support. The anxiety and fatigue conditions in the two groups were compared with self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and brief inventory(BFI).Results After music therapy intervention, the scores of SAS and BFI were significantly lower in the observational group than those in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Music therapy can help reduce the sense of anxiety and fatigue in the patients with Artificial Heart Pacemaker installed.【
