    Abstract:

    With the methods of documentary review,experts interview,comparison, and statistical analysis,the viewpoints of the experts on the related problems about the Basic Training of our national rhythmic gymnastics are collected and according to the status quo and the Basic Training practice of rhythmic gymnastics,how to lays down the evaluation standards of Basic Training is researched.The results show as follows: the establishment of the evaluation standards during the period of the Basic Training of rhythmic gymnastics can avoid the blindness of the Basic Training in our country.Referring to the standards,coaches assess and supervise the Basic Training level of gymnasts at different ages,examine the Training effects immediately,and adjust the Training plans in order to make the Basic Training of Chinese rhythmic gymnastics become scientific gradually.

    Abstract:

    Through using the method of literature investigation,expert interview,comparison and mathematical analysis,this paper collected the viewpoints of experts on related problems about Basic Training of our national rhythmic gymnastics,made clear on general condition of Basic Training.Based on condition of Basic Training of our rhythmic gymnastics,combining with Training practice,the author made definition on related theoretical problems of Basic Training in China,collected and learned advanced and scientific Training method of elite coaches at home and abroad,formulated the Basic framework of Training outline in terms of aspects as body,technique,dancing,comprehensive skill,mental ability.It also established the main content of framework of Basic Training outline,laid down supervising and checking standards,made some preliminary preparation for establishing the outline of Basic Training of rhythmic gymnastics as soon as possible.

In the light of the Training outline published before 1992, the year of the Soviet Union disintegrating, and Ukraine synthesize Training outline published in 1999, and aimed at the status in quo of rhythmic gymnastics Basic Training theory, this paper conducts a deep research on the defining of the relevant concepts in the rhythmic gymnastic Basic Training.

  • Sex Differences in Training Loads during British Army Basic Training.

    PURPOSE To compare Training loads between men and women during 14 wk of British Army standard entry Basic Training. METHODS Thirty-one male (mean ± SD: age, 21 ± 4 yr; height, 1.78 ± 0.08 m; mass, 77.1 ± 10.5 kg) and 28 female (age, 22 ± 4 yr; height, 1.65 ± 0.05 m; mass, 63.9 ± 8.9 kg) British Army recruits had external (distance) and internal (HR, Training impulse [TRIMP], RPE) Training loads measured during weeks 1, 2, 6, 12, and 13 of Basic Training. Total energy expenditure was measured during weeks 1 to 2 and weeks 12 to 13. RESULTS Daily distance was higher for men than women (13,508 ± 666 vs 11,866 ± 491 m, respectively, P < 0.001). Average daily HR (29% ± 3% vs 30% ± 3% HR reserve) and RPE (4 ± 1 vs 4 ± 1) were not different between men and women, respectively (P ≥ 0.495). Daily TRIMP was higher for women than men (492 ± 130 vs 261 ± 145 au, respectively, P < 0.001). Total energy expenditure was higher for men than women during weeks 1 to 2 (4020 ± 620 vs 2847 ± 323 kcal·d, respectively) and weeks 12 to 13 (4253 ± 556 kcal·d vs 3390 ± 344 kcal·d, respectively) (P < 0.001). Daily RPE, HR, and TRIMP were related to daily distance (R = 0.18-0.57, P ≤ 0.037), and daily RPE was related to daily TRIMP and HR (R = 0.37-0.77, P ≤ 0.001). CONCLUSIONS Sex differences in Training loads could contribute to the greater injury risk for women during Basic Training. Daily RPE appears a practical option for measuring internal Training load during military Training.

    OBJECTIVE To evaluate efficacy of stress fracture (SF) during Basic Training for military recruits using clinical diagnosis method. METHODS Two hundred and eighty-eight suspected SF were checked clinically and with bone scanning as golden standard. RESULTS Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive and negative predictive value, positive and negative likelihood ratios and Youden's index of clinical diagnosis were found to be 97.5%, 61.7%, 91.7%, 92.9%, 82.9%, 2.55, 0.04 and 0.59 respectively when calculated with cases. The agreement rate between two physicians was 81.7% with kappa value 0.64. When calculated with position, the precious measures were 97.2%, 84.1%, 89.7%, 82.0%, 97.6%, 6.12, 0.03, and 0.81 respectively. The agreement rate between two physicians was 94.4% with kappa value 0.88. CONCLUSION Efficacy reliability and agreement of clinical diagnosis for SF seemed to be satisfactory.
