The Research of a Rule-Based Business Process Management Method for Virtual Organization
2010 International Conference on e-Education e-Business e-Management and e-Learning, 2010Co-Authors: Wenzhong Tang, Jingyi QinAbstract:Virtual organization is an advanced organizational pattern positioned for today’s tough competitive market. The main advantages for virtual organization are the effective management of Business process. Business process management is an effective way to optimize Business process. However, the dynamic of virtual organization requires the flexibility of Business process management for practicality. For virtual organization, the Business process is affected by changes of the Business Rule. In this paper, we proposed a Rule-based Business process management method for virtual organization according to Business Rule Approach, we also give the corresponding architecture and execution mechanisms, the program can effectively support the operation of the virtual organization Business process.

The Research of a Business Rule Management Method for Virtual Organization
2009 Fifth International Conference on MEMS NANO and Smart Systems, 2009Co-Authors: Wenzhong TangAbstract:Presently, there are a large number of dynamic Business Rules that exist in the Business processes of virtual organization. In this paper, we introduce using Business Rule Approach in the Business management of a virtual organization; make use of Business Rule engine and the corresponding Business Rule language customizing Business Rule. By separating dynamic Business logic from process control structure, and describing the dynamic Business logic with declarative Business Rules, it can produce processes that can be changed as the need arises. Accordingly an effective algorithm is proposed to streamline Rule set, and to solve the Business Rule engine's effectiveness problem caused by logic changes of virtual organization Business.

Research on adaptability of intelligent urban transportation system
2010 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Intelligent Systems, 2010Co-Authors: Jinjiao LinAbstract:Intelligent urban transportation systems should provide the services for the customer anytime and anywhere. Due to variable requirements intelligent urban transportation systems should flexibly and quickly adapt to. In this paper, by using the Business Rule Approach, we draw the changeable ticket needs out from the intelligent urban transportation system to supervise them separately, and propose a Business Rule based intelligent urban transportation system framework. An example shows the validity of the Approach.

Research on smart urban transportation one ticket system
2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2010Co-Authors: Jinjiao LinAbstract:As nowadays urban transportation system is usually operated by multiple operators and has a variety of transportation forms, it is important to build up a smart urban transportation one ticket system. In this paper, by using the Business Rule Approach, we draw the changeable ticket needs out from the smart urban transportation one ticket system to supervise them separately, and propose a Business Rule based smart urban transportation one ticket system framework. An example shows the validity of the Approach.

Business Rules Generation methods by Merging Model Driven Architecture and Web Semantics
2010Co-Authors: Kaninda Musumbu, Mouhamed Diouf, Sofian MaaboutAbstract:The increasing complexity of the information systems must be taking into account for new technologies, and the appearance of new types of requirements raise new problems that the traditional engineering Approaches of the information systems cannot always solve in an adapted way. Business Rules constitute a key element of the Semantic Web vision, allowing integration, derivation, and transformation of data from multiple sources in a distributed, transparent and scalable manner. The Business Rule Approach is more and more used due to the fact that in such s ystems, Business experts can maintain the complex behavior of their application in a ''zero development'' environment. The aim of this paper is to propose a way to automatically generate a part of the Business Rules by combining concepts coming from Model Driven Architecture and Semantic Web using the Ontology Definition Meta-model.

RR - Merging model driven architecture and semantic web for Business Rules generation
Web Reasoning and Rule Systems, 1Co-Authors: Mouhamed Diouf, Sofian Maabout, Kaninda MusumbuAbstract:Business Rules are statements that express (certain parts of) a Business policy, defining terms and defining or constraining the operation of an entreprise, in a declarative manner. The Business Rule Approach is more and more used due to the fact that in such systems, Business experts can maintain the complex behavior of their application in a "zero development" environment. There exist more and more Business Rule management systems (BRMS) and Rule engines, adding new needs in the Business Rules community. Currently the main requirement in this domain is having a standard language for representing Business Rules, facilitating their integration and share. Works for solving this lack are in progress at e.g OMG and W3C. The aim of this paper is to propose a way to automatically generate a part of the Business Rules by combining concepts coming from Model Driven Architecture and Semantic Web using the Ontology Definition Metamodel.
