Modeling and Experiment for Carding Machine
Computer Simulation, 2007Co-Authors: Li Cong-xinAbstract:Carding process is of key importance because low irregularity of Carded Sliver is essential for production of high quality yarn. A model of carding machine is necessary for satisfactory result of control. Based on mechanism analysis and experiment, a nonlinear general model was developed using Matlab/Simulink. And the signal of correlation analysis method was used to prove this model. The experiment result shows the effectiveness of the proposed model.

Relative quality control in chute feed card and lap forming processing flow
2009Co-Authors: Miao Ding-shuAbstract:Carded Sliver test in lap forming processing flow and chute feed card processing flow by eye testing and AFIS inspection,usually shows that the index of neps in lap forming processing flow is better than in chute feed card processing.Through comparison and analysis of processing experiments,it indicates that high grade yarn can be spun both by use of lap forming processing flow and by use of chute feed card processing flow.

2007Co-Authors: Li Miao-fuAbstract:Basic quality requirements of heavy set-weight Carded Sliver are detailed.It holds that a reasonable setting up of the drafting in the whole of spinning system and a proper settlement of the neps and the short fiber rate have to be considered in realizing heavy set-weight for the Carded Sliver.A process to produce heavy set-weight Carded Sliver on high-production carding machine as properly reducing the Sliver delivering speed and keeping constant carding for each fiber is put forward in this article.After necessary reformation,a common carding machine is able to produce heavy set-weight Carded Sliver.

Discussion on the Approaches to Improve the Quality of Carded Sliver in Blowing-carding
2005Co-Authors: Wang Ju-pingAbstract:Through theoretical analysis, this paper describes the mechanism in which a large a-mount of short fiber, neps, and impurities occur at different stages of blowing-carding, puts forward how to reduce the rotation speed of the beater suitably and control the output rationally to lighten the damage to the fiber and reduce the number of neps. The process " early drop to avoid breaking" is desirable for blowing-carding. The strengthened trash-eliminator controls the compression of the fiber layer on the surface of the screen cage with the constant pressure difference so as to remove the tiny impurities and reach the Carded Sliver free from neps and trash particles.
