Synchronous bilateral Chromophobe Cell renal carcinoma.
The Journal of urology, 2001Co-Authors: Hossam H. Yakout, Nabil K. Bissada, Wahib Fahmy, William T. Creasman, Mostafa Fraig, Gerald W. HullAbstract:In 1985 Thoenes et al described a new entity designated Chromophobe Cell renal carcinoma. Chromophobe Cell renal carcinoma represents less than 5% of all types of renal Cell carcinoma.1 This tumor warrants distinction from other variants because of its unique morphology and cytogenetic features, and the possibility of misdiagnosing the tumor as an oncocytoma. We report a case of synchronous bilateral Chromophobe Cell renal carcinoma.
