Grid Connection Control of the Doubly-fed Wind Power System
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2011Co-Authors: Wu LeiAbstract:In order to reduce the impact of the connected-grid current and connected with the grid safely, the operat-ing characteristics and vector model of variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed wind power generator are ana-lyzed and an idle load grid-Connection Control strategy is proposed based on grid voltage orientation. The model of doubly-fed induction generator before the Connection with the grid is founded and one kind of new model software l-ock appearance ring(SPLL) is used to track the electrified wire netting voltage phase rapidly accurately is adopted. The experiment platform is built to carry out the connected-grid process. The results show that the proposed Control strate-gy is an ideal connected way which can effectively Control the stator voltage as the same as electrical network and realize grid Connection without overshoot current at different speed.

Connection Control by virtual admission in wireless LAN environment
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2006Co-Authors: Yen-wen Chen, Yuan-long Lee, I-hsuan PengAbstract:The traditional wireless technology confronted with some shortcomings in practical use, such as insufficiency for bandwidth, and lack of guaranteed on Quality of Services (QoS). Both of the packet scheduling and Connection admission Control are the main consideration issues toward QoS networks. These two issues are mutually correlated. In this paper, we propose a measurement based with fake priority scheme for the Control of Connection admission in WLAN. As the concept of the virtual source and virtual MAC (VS/VMAC) is applied, the proposed scheme will not affect the transmission of existing traffic during traffic probing. The proposed scheme also provides a difference factor (D factor) for the compensation of the performance measured by VMAC. This factor is also applied to Control the tightness of the policy of Connection acceptance. The simulations results show that the proposed scheme can effectively manage the Connection requests while maintaining QoS in WLAN.

Load Cutting-in Control of Variable-Speed Constant-Freqency (VSCF) Wind-Power Generator
Electric Machines and Control Application, 2009Co-Authors: Feng JingAbstract:Running principle of the grid-Connection process of doubly-fed generator was discussed.Grid-Connection Control strategy of generator was investigated based on stator-oriented vector Control technique.Contrasting and simulating the principle of the grid-Connection with load and with no load, the generator of the load cutting-in Control can Control wind energy in cooperate with wind turbine, which can relieves the stress of windturbine from wind and improve the speed adjustment ability of system. The simulation model of grid-Connection process of doubly-fed generator was founded. The simulation result verified the impact current was very small and the validity and feasibility of the grid-Connection Control strategy of doubly-fed generator.

Modeling, Control design and simulation of a grid Connection Control mode for a small variable-speed wind turbine system
2009 IEEE Electrical Power & Energy Conference (EPEC), 2009Co-Authors: Lucian Mihet-popa, Voicu GrozaAbstract:In this paper, a variable-speed wind turbine generator system with a vector Controlled back-to-back PWM-VSI on the stator side has been modeled, designed and simulated to study its steady state and dynamic behavior. The grid Connection Control mode of a wind turbine based on a flexible dSPACE digital signal processor system that allows user-friendly code development, monitoring and online tuning is used. The design of an LCL-filter, current Controller and DC-link voltage Controller are described in detail. The PI-Controllers are designed using pole-zero placement technique and the gain of the regulators are found using root locus method. The experimental results demonstrate the performance of the design procedure. A good agreement between simulation and experimental results was obtained.
