The paper argues that in order for business managers to deal with social media resources effectively, they need an active and comprehensive approach using a guiding framework. This manuscript summarizes such a framework, which consists of six components: activity sources, abridgements, activities context, affordances, ascertained boundaries, and actors. The conceptual framework can be helpful for practitioners and researchers interested in social Content Management.
