    Abstract:

    It is a common mistake of application developers to store user Passwords within databases as plaintext or only as their unsalted hash values. Many real-life successful hacking attempts that enabled attackers to get unauthorized access to sensitive database entries including user Passwords have been experienced in the past. Seizing Password hashes, attackers perform brute-force, dictionary, or rainbow-table attacks to reveal plaintext Passwords from their hashes. Dictionary attacks are very fast for Cracking hashes but their success rate is not sufficient. In this paper, we propose a novel method for improving dictionary attacks. Our method exploits several Password patterns that are commonly preferred by users when trying to choose a complex and strong Password. In order to analyze and show success rates of our developed method, we performed Cracking tests on real-life leaked Password hashes using both a traditional dictionary and our pattern-based dictionary. We observed that our pattern-based method is superior for Cracking Password hashes.

    Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací analytického webového dashboardu pro aplikaci na vzdálenou správu systému Fitcrack. Tento systém slouží pro distribuovanou obnovu hesel. Administrace tohoto systému je jednostránková aplikace, která je rozdělena na serverovou a klientskou část. Tyto části spolu navzájem komunikují. Napříč systémem se vyskytuje mnoho informací, které jsou buď zaznamenávány do databáze pro pozdější analýzu, nebo zobrazovány v reálném čase uživateli. Ideálním zobrazením dat jsou grafické prvky nejrůznějších typů (šipka, graf, tabulka, čtvereček) a barev znázorňující, co a jakým způsobem se právě děje. This thesis deals with the design and implementation of the analytical web dashboard for remote administration of the Fitcrack system.     Sebagian besar para pengguna computer tentu aware dengan sistem keamanan komputernya, oleh karena itu sering dijumpai computer yang memiliki Password sehingga membatasi akses bagi orang asing yang ingin mengakses file dan menjalankan computer secara bebas, hal ini tentu menyulitkan bagi para pengguna asing yang ingin  bebas mengeksplorasi dan dan melakukan berbagai macam operasi yang ada dalam komputer yang memiliki Password. Oleh karena itu Proses Cracking Password ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan Password computer target sehingga kita bisa melakukan login administrator dalam computer tersebut dan melewati sistem keamanannya dengan mudah sehingga bisa menjalankan computer dengan bebas dan mengakses berbagai macam file yang diinginkan hanya dengan menjalankan beberapa aplikasi scanning untuk Cracking Password seperti Pwdump untuk mendapatkan hash dari Password target dan cail and abel untuk mencocokkan hash tersebut dengan Password yang digunakan computer sehingga hasilnya hash dari Password target dan Password administrator target bisa ditemukan
