Presence of Dasein and Destruction of Jaspers' Humanism: Studies of Young Heidegger's Intellectual Development
Journal of Nanjing University, 2011Co-Authors: Zhang Yi-binAbstract:A key concept in young Heidegger's philosophy is Dasein, which originates from Luther and Kierkegaard, and comes into being with the destruction of Jaspers' humanism. In his review of Jaspers' Psychologie der Weltanschauungen,Heidegger recognizes the fundament of individual subject in Dasein with its historical finiteness, and a research of the objectified history is thus replaced by the interest in the formation of history."What is man",therefore, turns to be a further quest for the historical life of Dasein in the dimension of time.

Intersubjectivity of Dasein in Heidegger’s Being and Time: How Authenticity is a Return to Community
Human Studies, 2015Co-Authors: K. M. StrohAbstract:This essay discusses an alternative interpretation of the term “Dasein” as Heidegger uses it in Being and Time and, in particular, the possibility that Dasein is meant to contain an inherent form of intersubjectivity to which we must “return” in order to achieve authenticity. In doing so, I build on the work of John Haugeland and his interpretation of Dasein as a mass term, while exploring the implications such an interpretation has on Heidegger’s conception of “authenticity”. Ultimately, this paper aims to take seriously Heidegger’s claim to be moving past the isolated Cartesian subject and towards a view of authentic human existence that is cognizant of the way our identities are always formed within a pre-existing community. In addition, since many interpretations of Heidegger have argued that “the Anyone” (Das Man) is representative of all possible forms of community, I consider how this alternative understanding of Dasein as intersubjective can shed new light on critical remarks Heidegger makes about “the Anyone”. Thus, I argue that by reinterpreting Dasein as community, we can find more coherence between Heidegger’s otherwise conflicting conceptions of authenticity and “the Anyone”.

In order to understand the Selfhood of Dasein as an eminent and ontological phenomenon of Freedom, this research seeks to thematise this Selfhood within the intrinsic limits of § 44 of the book ‘Being and Time’ in full connection with the existential truth of existence. Such Freedom will have to show that the nexus Dasein-truth can only be carried out in the wake of a development of the Selfhood of the Dasein, a Selfhood understood as a phenomenon related to “set-free” and “being-free”. Ultimately, this will be the objective of this research paper

Dasein personeidad intersubjetividad y persona nucleo el sujeto relacional despues de heidegger en zubiri apel y polo Dasein personhood inter subjectivity and nucleus person the relational subject after heidegger in zubiri apel and polo
Heidegger, Zubiri, Apel, and Polo have proposed a more accurate definition of the respective notions of human relational subject: “Dasein” or “being-there”; “Personhood” or “open essence”; “inter-subjectivity” or “entities’ appeal to diverse interlocutors”; and, finally, “nucleus-person” or “mediator between entities and being”. The aim is to avoid a return to Kant’s transcendental subject paradoxes and Hegel’s “absolute I” or Husserl´s “fenomenological subject”. But in each case specifically different heuristic strategies were followed when conceptualizing said relational subject: Heidegger proposed overcoming the notion of “phenomenological subject” in Husserl; Zubiri, however, defend the recovery of the notion of “phenomenological subject” in Husserl; meanwhile, Apel propose a transformed semiotically reformulation of Heidegger’s “Dasein”; finally, Polo propose a reformulation of the epistemological notion of Heidegger’s “Dasein”.

Contributions to an interpretation of the structure of Dasein according to its bidimensional character
