  • crisprsql a novel Database Platform for crispr cas off target cleavage assays
    Nucleic Acids Research, 2021
    Co-Authors: Florian Störtz, Peter Minary
    Abstract:

With ongoing development of the CRISPR/Cas programmable nuclease system, applications in the area of in vivo therapeutic gene editing are increasingly within reach. However, non-negligible off-target effects remain a major concern for clinical applications. Even though a multitude of off-target cleavage datasets have been published, a comprehensive, transparent overview tool has not yet been established. Here, we present crisprSQL (http://www.crisprsql.com), an interactive and bioinformatically enhanced collection of CRISPR/Cas9 off-target cleavage studies aimed at enriching the fields of cleavage profiling, gene editing safety analysis and transcriptomics. The current version of crisprSQL contains cleavage data from 144 guide RNAs on 25,632 guide-target pairs from human and rodent cell lines, with interaction-specific references to epigenetic markers and gene names. The first curated Database of this standard, it promises to enhance safety quantification research, inform experiment design and fuel development of computational off-target prediction algorithms.

  • Design of Coking Production Real-time Database Based on CART
    Computer Engineering, 2010
    Co-Authors: Li Juan
    Abstract:

This paper studies the iron and steel enterprise coking production real-time data gathering system,in view of the process control system's mass data,it designs a coking production real-time Database system based on CART Database Platform, and gives the method specifically. The system uses data interface procedure gathering process control's real-time data, realizes the data transmission and multiuser sharing through the work local area network, and realizes the production real-time data visit and the management application using the CART Database Platform. In the implementation process,it uses DDE,OPC,multithreading,Windows service and many kinds of technologies to guarantee the software's timeliness.

  • Managed Query Processing within the SAP HANA Database Platform
    Datenbank-Spektrum, 2015
Co-Authors: Norman May, Alexander Böhm, Meinolf Block, Wolfgang Lehner
    Abstract:

The SAP HANA Database extends the scope of traditional Database engines as it supports data models beyond regular tables, e.g. text, graphs or hierarchies. Moreover, SAP HANA also provides developers with a more fine-grained control to define their Database application logic, e.g. exposing specific operators which are difficult to express in SQL. Finally, the SAP HANA Database implements efficient communication to dedicated client applications using more effective communication mechanisms than available with standard interfaces like JDBC or ODBC. These features of the HANA Database are complemented by the extended scripting engine–an application server for server-side JavaScript applications–that is tightly integrated into the query processing and application lifecycle management. As a result, the HANA Platform offers more concise models and code for working with the HANA Platform and provides superior runtime performance. This paper describes how these specific capabilities of the HANA Platform can be consumed and gives a holistic overview of the HANA Platform starting from query modeling, to the deployment, and efficient execution. As a distinctive feature, the HANA Platform integrates most steps of the application lifecycle, and thus makes sure that all relevant artifacts stay consistent whenever they are modified. The HANA Platform also covers transport facilities to deploy and undeploy applications in a complex system landscape.

  • Database Platform of EMS System Based on Distributed Key-Value Pair Storage Technology
    Power system technology, 2012
    Co-Authors: Di Fangchun
    Abstract:

To solve the problems of massive data storage and fast access caused by exponential growth of energy management system(EMS) data in smart grid,a distributed key-value pair-based method for the storage of EMS data, which expresses structured and non-structured data unitedly in the form of key-value pairs and stores in distributed cluster,is proposed.Based on the proposed method,a new EMS Database Platform is developed and implemented. This Platform is a hybrid Database Platform and supports integrated accessing of relational and non-relational Database,in addition the data query system is optimized according to the EMS query characteristics, and a kind of mixed index strategy is introduced to enhance query performance for multi-dimensional and high-dimensional data.Experimental results show that comparing with traditional EMS Database Platform, not only the new EMS Database Platform can meet the needs of integrated storage and efficient concurrent access for massive data of multi-service,but also it has the advantage of good scalability and fault tolerance. What is more,to effectively reduce system cost this storage system can be operated on commercial computer.
