    Abstract:

    Abstract We present a Design Method that allows to automatically obtain the implementation of a real-time system. To take into account the reactive and transformational characteristics of real-time systems, we have defined a model which is similar both to synchronous and data-flow models. Moreover, if some treatments do not run in real-time, this model allows their automatic parallelization.

THIS PAPER PRESENTS A SOFTWARE Design Method THAT IS A PRAGMATIC AND SIMPLE APPROACH TO DesignING OBJECT-ORIENTED APPLICATIONS. IT IS BASED ON THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF OBJECT-ORIENTED Design: OBJECTS AND THEIR COOPERATION. Design PROCESS DESCRIPTIONS ARE DESCRIBED, CONSIDERING MODELING NOTATIONS, AS WELL AS STEPS FROM COLLECTING CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS TO IMPLEMENTING CODE. THE Design Method INCLUDES ONLY THREE NOTATIONS AND FIVE CLEAR STEPS. STILL, IT COVERS THE SOFTWARE Design PROCESS FROM REQUIREMENTS CAPTURE TO TESTING.     Abstract:

    By comparing the performance-based seismic Design Method(PBSD) and bearing capacity-based Design Method(BCBD),it is concluded that PBSD could obtain better results than BCBD.In the Design of the energy dissipation structures(EDS),force-carrying capacity is not the controlling factor while structural modal displacement,maximum roof displacement and ductility have more influence on the equivalent damping ratio of the EDS.Displacement-based seismic Design Method(DBSD) is thus a more efficient Method in the analysis of passive energy dissipation structures.The existing problems and future research directions of DBSD are put forward at the end of the paper.
