Co-Authors: Thomas W. Shinder, Yuri Diogenes, Debra Littlejohn Shinder
    Abstract:

In this chapter, we take a look at several deployment scenarios for the Windows Server 2012 Directaccess solution. Windows Server 2012 includes wizard that makes it easy to deploy the Directaccess Server at the edge of the network, behind a firewall, or even as a single NIC solution for small and medium businesses. We look at each of these deployment scenarios and then dig into the wizards and configuration interfaces. We also take a look at the monitoring and reporting features.
