Flatness of Switched Linear Discrete-Time Systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2009Co-Authors: Gilles Millerioux, Jamal DaafouzAbstract:This note is devoted to flatness for switched linear Discrete-Time Systems. For this class of hybrid Systems, algebraic conditions are derived to check whether a given output is flat. Then, a feedforward flatness-based control strategy for trajectory tracking is proposed.

Unknown input observers for switched linear discrete time Systems
Proceedings of the 2004 American Control Conference, 2004Co-Authors: Gilles Millerioux, Jamal DaafouzAbstract:This paper is concerned with unknown input observers in the case of switched linear discrete time Systems. Sufficient conditions of global convergence of such kind of observers along with a systematic procedure to design the gains of the observers are proposed. A discussion about the existence of such observers is provided.

Sliding mode control for multi-input discrete time Systems
Proceedings of 1994 33rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1994Co-Authors: Y. Fujisaki, K. Togawa, K. HiraiAbstract:A new sliding mode controller is proposed for multi-input discrete time Systems. The controller consists of a linear state feedback and a switching feedback. A class of stabilizing switching gain is derived. Another class of those without chattering is also derived.

interval observers for time varying discrete time Systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2013Co-Authors: Denis Efimov, Wilfrid Perruquetti, Tarek Raissi, Ali ZolghadriAbstract:This techical note deals with interval state observer design for time-varying Discrete-Time Systems. The problem of a similarity transformation computation which connects a (time-varying) matrix and its nonnegative representation is studied. Three solutions are proposed: for a generic time-varying system, a system with positive state, and for a particular class of periodical Systems. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate advantages of the developed techniques.
