In particular, recent advances in proteomics have resulted in the generation of large data sets that require analysis. To assist accurate comparison of chemical signals, we propose two methods for the alignment of multiple spectral data sets. Based on methods previously described, each chromatograph or spectrum to be aligned is divided and aligned as individual segments to a reference. However, our methods make use of fast Fourier transform for the rapid computation of a cross-correlation function that enables alignments between samples to be optimized. The proposed methods are demonstrated in comparison with an existing method on a chromatographic and a mass spectral data set. It is shown that our methods provide an advantage of speed and a reduction of the number of input parameters required. Security Software Based on Windows NDIS Filter Drivers
2013 IEEE 37th Annual Computer Software and Applications Conference Workshops, 2013Co-Authors: Shin-shung Chen, Tzong-yih Kuo, Yu-wen ChenAbstract:We present a new security software based on the NDIS filter drivers at Windows desktop computer, which focuses on filtering and dropping packets according to the snort rules released by security communities (such as Snort or Emerging Threats). TWIDS is an application designed based on the middleware of the Windows® OS, it can identify the application process that transfer packets. TWIDS can process a large number of malicious IP address in the database that it can check and drop packets effectively and improve the network security on Windows® desktop computer by using Snort related protective resources. Thus, it provides a security solution that can help to reduce the investments for network gateway and can be used by common users who used for eliminating the botnet and malware traffic. TWIDS is shared in the Downloads Section of the Openfoundry.org website, and it will against the spread of botnets and malware.

A partir de una sencilla página web de imagen de la revista, se convertirá en una plataforma que incluya un gestor de noticias, artículos, blogs, foros, sección de descargas y administración de usuarios. Se definirá una organización de las distintas secciones y grupos de usuarios que permita una colaboración fluida entre los miembros del equipo de la revista. Además se diseñará una estrategia de publicidad e integración en redes sociales.[EN] This TFG carries out a practical case to provide an online community to the bilingual magazine Sims Vita, which is a magazine dedicated to the world of The Sims. From a simple web, it becomes a platform that includes a system to manage news, articles, blogs, forums, Downloads Section and user administration. An organization of the various Sections and user groups is defined so a fluid collaboration between the magazine team members can take place.
