Power system model Driven Architecture
Electrotechnical Conference 2004. MELECON 2004. Proceedings of the 12th IEEE Mediterranean, 2004Co-Authors: Izudin Džafić, Mevludin Glavic, Sejid TešnjakAbstract:Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is recently announced initiative of the object management group (OMG). This paper describes an approach of applying the model Driven development in the power system. Presented Architecture gives full flexibility of the automation in source code generation still having reasonably efficient generated source code. Some of the most important insights of what an MDA should have are shown using unified modeling language (UML). Model Driven development essentials are also explained. The paper was guided toward fulfilling these essentials. An example design pattern to source code generation for the power system optimization is developed and described.

Reliability support for the model Driven Architecture
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2004Co-Authors: Genaína Nunes Rodrigues, Graham Roberts, Wolfgang EmmerichAbstract:Reliability is an important concern for software dependability. Quantifying dependability in terms of reliability can be carried out by measuring the continuous delivery of a correct service or, equivalently, the mean time to failure. The novel contribution of this paper is to provide a means to support reliability design following the principles of the Model Driven Architecture(MDA). By doing this, we hope to contribute to the task of consistently addressing dependability concerns from the early to late stages of software engineering. Additionally, we believe MDA can be a suitable framework to realize the assessment of those concerns and therefore, semantically integrate analysis and design models into one environment.

Development Approach of Decision Support System Based on Model Driven Architecture
Computer Engineering, 2009Co-Authors: Liu Xiao-bingAbstract:In order to solve the existing problems of the complexity of the system, expansion of poor issues and so on, this paper presents an approach based on Model Driven Architecture(MDA) for the development of decision support system, and proposes a framework based on MDA.A case study is provided to exemplify the benefits of the approach.Practice proves that the method effectively shortens the development cycle and improves the efficiency of development.
