    With the development of modern Electric Power system,the reliability of Electric Power communication network plays a vital role in security and stability operation of Electric Power system.Through the analysis of the affecting factors and evaluate index about the reliability of Electric Power communication network,we summed up 4 parameters of reliability(the reliability,mean time between failure,mean time to repair and survival) and gives the calculation formula,then discuss the research methods about the reliability of Electric Power communication network which can contribute to the development of Electric Power communication network in the future.
