Information technology of processing information resources in Electronic Content commerce systems

A new approach to application and implementation of business processes is formulated for the Electronic Content commerce systems construction. A complex method of Content formation, the operational method of Content management and complex method of Content support are developed. Software tools for Content formation, management and support are developed. Design and implementation methods of Electronic Content commerce systems are based on online newspapers, which reflect the results of theoretical research, are developed. From the perspective of a systemic approach, the principles of applying information resources processing in these systems for Content lifecycle implementation made the development of methods for Content formation, management and support possible.

KozlovAbstract:Practical factor of information resources processing in Electronic Content commerce systems (ECCS) is related to solving problems with increase in Content amount on Internet, active development of e-business, rapidly spreading Internet accessibility, information products and services extension set, increasing demand for Content. The aim was to develop methods and software of information resources processing to improve the efficiency of ECCS due to increased sales of Content. Article is devoted to the standardized methods and software development of information resources processing in ECCS. In this paper an actual scientific problem of development and research in methods and means of information resources processing ECCS was solved with use of designed classification, mathematical providing and software and generalized ECCS architecture. ECCS classification was researched and improved on the basis of analyzing and evaluating of such systems. It made possible to determine, detail and justify choice of their functional possibilities for Content lifecycle designing. The task of developing methods and software formation, management and support of information products resolved with a theoretically grounded concept by automating information resources processing in ECCS to increase Content selling for constant user, by involvement of potential users and expanding the boundaries of the target audience.

MASS - Mobility-Aware Cooperative Content Caching in Social Wireless Networks

The MSWNETs are formed by wireless mobile devices sharing common interests in Electronic Content, and physically gathering in various public settings such as University campuses, work places, malls, and airports. Cooperative caching in such MSWNETs are shown to be able to reduce the Content provisioning cost which depends heavily on the service and pricing dependencies among various stakeholders including the Content provider, the network service provider, and the end consumers. This paper first develops practical network, search, and pricing models which are then used for creating an optimal cooperative caching strategy for static networks. In addition to proving its optimality for the static case, the paper constructs analytical models, simulation, and prototype experiments for evaluating the performance of the proposed strategy. Building on the static case, the paper then develops a mobility analysis technique and demonstrates the applicability of the proposed scheme in the presence of user mobility.

Electronic object caching in such SWNETs are shown to be able to reduce the Content provisioning cost which depends heavily on the service and pricing dependencies among various stakeholders including the Content provider, the network service provider, and the end consumers. Drawing motivation from Amazon's Kindle Electronic book delivery business, this paper develops practical network, service, and pricing models which are then used for creating two optimal caching strategies, namely Split Cache and Distributed Benefit for minimizing Content provisioning costs in networks with homogenous and heterogeneous object demands. In addition to proving the optimality of the mechanisms, the paper constructs extensive analytical and simulation models for analyzing the proposed caching strategies and their optimal operating points.

Barter: A backbone architecture for trade of Electronic Content

Barter is designed to operate over a large-scale, global and heterogeneous communication network infrastructure. The barter protocols address two vital requirements from an Electronic commerce system, neglected from existing systems: scalability and transactional efficiency. barter suggests three basic protocols, offering different levels of trust in the system. Barter's novelty is twofold: First, by distributing signature verification away from barter servers, the overhead of online transaction processing is reduced by orders of magnitude. Nevertheless, this does not sacrifice strong security requirements, namely the ability to aggregate transaction commitments and to resolve disputes.Second, barter integrates scalability considerations into several system components that are likely to suffer service degradation in a world-wide setting. These components are the authentication subsystem, the account management subsystem, and the maintenance of global data (such as transaction identifier lists). In addressing these issues, barter takes into account the inherent asynchronous, unreliable, insecure and failureprone environment assumptions. We contend that by employing service distribution, barter is expected to scale well, meeting the demands of a world-wide setting, over which it is intended to operate.

A SAFE AND SCALABLE PAYMENT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR TRADE OF Electronic Content

BARTER is designed to operate over a large-scale, global and heterogeneous communication network. The BARTER protocols address two vital requirements, neglected from existing Electronic commerce systems: scalability and transactional efficiency. These protocols possess strong properties such as delivery atomicity, agreement validation and the ability to resolve several classes of disputes. BARTER's novelty is twofold: First, BARTER servers are not required to perform expensive cryptographic operations such as commitment verification; commitments are cross-verified by the parties themselves, thus reducing the overhead of online transaction processing by orders of magnitude. Consequently, BARTER can serve as an efficient online/offline clearing infrastructure. Second, BARTER integrates scalability considerations into several system components (the authentication subsystem, the account management subsystem, and the maintenance of global data) that are likely to suffer service degradation in a world-wide setting. In addressing these issues, BARTER takes into account the inherent asynchronous, unreliable, insecure and failure-prone environment assumptions.
