dynamic watermarking scheme for quantum images based on hadamard transform
Multimedia Systems, 2014Co-Authors: Xianhua Song, Shen Wang, Ahmed Abd A Ellatif, Xiamu NiuAbstract:In this paper, a novel watermarking scheme for quantum images based on Hadamard transform is proposed. In the new scheme, a unitary transform controlled by a classical binary key is implemented on quantum image. Then, we utilize a dynamic vector, instead of a fixed parameter as in other previous schemes, to control the Embedding Process. The dynamic Embedding vector is decided by both the carrier quantum image and the watermark image, which is only known by the authorized owner. The proposed scheme is analyzed from visual quality, computational complexity, and payload capacity. Analysis and results show that the proposed scheme has better visual quality under a higher Embedding capacity and lower complexity compared with other schemes proposed recently.

a dynamic watermarking scheme for quantum images using quantum wavelet transform
Quantum Information Processing, 2013Co-Authors: Xianhua Song, Shen Wang, Ahmed Abd A EllatifAbstract:In this paper, a novel watermarking scheme based on quantum wavelet transform (QWT) is proposed. Firstly, the wavelet coefficients are extracted by executing QWT on quantum image. Then, we utilize a dynamic vector for controlling Embedding strength instead of a fixed parameter for Embedding Process in other schemes. Analysis and results show that the proposed dynamic watermarking scheme has better visual quality under a higher Embedding capacity and outperforms the existing schemes in the literature.

High capacity reversible data hiding scheme based on residual histogram shifting for block truncation coding
Signal Processing, 2015Co-Authors: I-cheng Chang, Wulin ChenAbstract:A reversible data hiding scheme based on residual histogram shifting for the compressed images of block truncation coding (BTC) is proposed. This scheme employs an iterative approach to embed the secret data into the compressed codes of BTC. In each round, the quantization levels are Processed by the block-based prediction technique to generate the residual values. Then, the residual values are used to embed the secret data. Multiple rounds of the data Embedding Process can be executed to increase the hiding capacity of the proposed scheme. Experimental results reveal that the proposed scheme provides good image qualities of the embedded images. In addition, the hiding capacity of the proposed scheme is greater than that of the comparative scheme. Furthermore, the embedded compressed codes still follow the standard format of BTC after the proposed data Embedding procedure is executed. A high capacity reversible data hiding scheme for the compressed images of block truncation coding is proposed.A block-based prediction technique is employed to generate the residual values for quantization levels.Secret data is embedded into the residual values by using the residual histogram shifting techniques.Multiple rounds of the data Embedding Process can be executed.

wavelet based copyright protection scheme for digital images based on local features
Information Sciences, 2009Co-Authors: Tzuchao Lin, Chaoming LinAbstract:A lossless, robust copyright-protection scheme for digital images based on cryptography and watermarking is proposed. In the proposed wavelet-based scheme, the logo image is not embedded into the protected image. The secret key is generated during the Embedding Process using local features extracted from the perceptually prominent components of the host image after the digital wavelet transform. Digital signature and time-stamping technologies are then used for further protection. With the secret key, the logo image extraction Process can be completed without the host image. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is effective and robust against common image Processing and geometric distortions.
