  • a smallest cost Function Frame estimation algorithm based on spatial temporal correlation in neighboring Frames of stereoscopic sequences
    Acta Electronica Sinica, 2003
    Co-Authors: Zhang Zhao
    Abstract:

In order to achieve high compression ratio in coding stereo video sequences, one sequence of stereoscopic sequences is independently coded by a conventional MPEG type scheme, only a few reference Frames in another sequence are coded. The rest of Frames, however, are neither coded nor transmitted. They are reconstructed at the decoder using a stereoscopic Frame estimation technique. This paper studies the highly spatial and temporal correlation between images, disparity fields and motion vector fields in the neighbor Frames of stereoscopic sequences and proposes a Frame estimation technique to explore these correlations. As to those un estimated regions due to occlusion, this paper also constructs a cost Function combined with the continuity of image intensity and the distribution characteristic of motion and disparity vector to estimate the motion vectors and intensities of them. The experiment results show that this Frame estimation algorithm has good results on view perception and PSNR.

  • natural language dialog device
    1998
    Co-Authors: Yamaguchi Tomoharu
    Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a system to request a user to supply sufficient information by providing an inquiry means which judges which part can not be interpreted from the description of a Function Frame and generates an inquiry sentence to the user. SOLUTION: An inquiry decision means 201 refers to a Function Frame that a meaning analyzing means 004 holds, decides the need for inquiry when there is a slot having no substituted value, and outputs a list of slots having no substituted values to an inquiry determining means 202. Then an inquiry sentence generating means 203 refers to an inquiry expression storage means 211 to obtain expressions as to an attribute condition 'path' and a case 'dst' stored in an inquiry case storage means 211, acquires a 'copy' from the Function name description of a Function Frame included in a morpheme analyzing means 002, and generates an inquiry sentence by adding a character string and outputs it to an inquiry sentence display means 204. The inquiry sentence display means 204 shows the inquiry sentence to the user.

  • A Frame-shifted gene, which rescued its Function by non-natural start codons and its application in constructing synthetic gene circuits
    BMC, 2019
Co-Authors: Kathakali Sarkar, Sayak Mukhopadhyay, Deepro Bonnerjee, Rajkamal Srivastava, Sangram Bagh
    Abstract:

Abstract Background Frame-shifted genes results in non-Functional peptides. Because of this complete loss of Function, Frame-shifted genes have never been used in constructing synthetic gene circuits. Results Here we report that the Function of gene circuits is rescued by a Frame-shifted gene, which Functions by translating from a non-natural start codon. We report a single nucleotide deletion mutation that developed in the λ-repressor cI within a synthetic genetic NOT gate in Escherichia coli during growth and through this mutation, a non-Functional synthetic gene circuit became Functional. This mutation resulted in a Frame-shifted cI, which showed effective Functionality among genetic NOT-gates in Escherichia coli with high regulatory ranges (> 300) and Hill coefficient (> 6.5). The cI worked over a large range of relative copy numbers between the Frame-shifted gene and its target promoter. These properties make this Frame-shifted gene an excellent candidate for building synthetic gene circuits. We hypothesized a new operating mechanism and showed evidence that Frame-shifted cI was translated from non-natural start codon. We have engineered and tested a series of NOT gates made from a library of cI genes, each of which starts from a different codon within the first several amino acids of the Frame-shifted cI. It is found that one form with start codon ACA, starting from the 3rd codon had similar repression behavior as the whole Frame-shifted gene. We demonstrated synthetic genetic NAND and NOR logic-gates with Frame-shifted cI. This is the first report of synthetic-gene-circuits made from a Frame-shifted gene. Conclusions This study inspires a new view on Frame-shifted gene and may serve as a novel way of building and optimizing synthetic-gene-circuits. This work may also have significance in the understanding of non-directed evolution of synthetic genetic circuits

  • design of third party mobile payment platform based on soa
Journal of Beijing Technology and Business University, 2009
    Co-Authors: Wang Chun
    Abstract:

According to the weakness of the process of the mobile payment facing the risk of credit loss at present, the paper gave a solution to optimize this process based on the third-party payment. The paper designed the Function Frame of the third-party mobile payment platform and analyzed the Function of parts of the Frame and its security.
