power transmission system e g mode type power transmission system for hybrid electric vehicle has brakes arranged between rotary elements of planetary Gear set and Gear Housing where planetary Gear set is connected with motor generator
2011Co-Authors: Auf Teilnichtnennung Antrag, Jang Mi Lee, Sungik BaeAbstract:The system has a drive shaft (IS) receiving rotational torque of a motor (ENG). An output wheel (OG) is connected with a first rotary element of a planetary Gear set (PG2). A clutch (CL1) connects a rotary element of another planetary Gear set (PG1) optionally with a second rotary element of the former planetary Gear set. Two brakes (BK1, BK2) are arranged between the second rotary element and a third rotary element of the former planetary Gear set and a Gear Housing (H), respectively. The former planetary Gear set is connected with a motor generator (MG2). The motor generator is operated as a motor and/or a generator.

Tests of the acoustic emission of the power steering column equipped with a modified composite worm Gear Housing
Vibroengineering PROCEDIA, 2018Co-Authors: Marek Płaczek, Andrzej Wróbel, Mateusz Czechowski, Andrzej BaierAbstract:Paper presents results of the laboratory tests concerning with measurements of the acoustic emission of the power steering column equipped with a modified composite Gear body juxtaposed with the production version of the power steering column with the Gear body made of aluminium alloy. The new, developed power steering column worm Gear Housing is made of a polymer called polydicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) and the Reaction-Injection-Moulding technology was used to produce it (the shortcut of the technology name is RIM technology). Both types of the worm power steering Housings were tested to analyse their properties of acoustic emission. Results of the tests are very important considering noise generated during exploitation of a car’s power steering system.

power steering system
2006Co-Authors: Masaharu Yamashita, Masaki Fujimoto, Takatoshi Saito, Shigeki TashiroAbstract:A power-steering system, e.g., for a motor vehicle, having an electric motor, which transmits a steering-assist force via a belt transmission to a ball-screw transmission for displacing vehicle wheels, includes a cam, via which the ball-screw transmission and/or electric motor is supported in a steering-Gear Housing. The tension of a belt of the belt transmission is adjustable by rotating the cam in the steering-Gear Housing. The cam has at least one cutout on the circumference, and/or the steering-Gear Housing has at least one cutout in its inner wall. A locking element may be inserted into the cutout, in order to fix the cam in position with respect to the steering-Gear Housing. After being inserted, the locking element is operatively connected to the cam and the steering-Gear Housing.
