    Abstract:

    The task aim – to create a cutting department workers clothing, to analyze assortment of antistatic materials, also to perform basic and model constructions, then create technological line, prepare products cutting plan, moreover to represent productions documentation and afterwards make productions prototype. Cutting departments employees work particularity is overviewed in the technical task part. Also five clothing, with antistatic characteristics, analysis are done. After that it is discussed antistatic clothing customization opportunities in the cutting department. The product is designed with long sleeves, short collar; pockets are sewed in the side seams. In front of the clothing, at chest level, there are two pockets – one is for the pen, the other one is for the employee’s document. Upper clothing design and modeling work are done with automated “Gerber Technology” software. Productions construction is made for size 170-92-96, maker grade schemes presented for 84-104 size groups. Maker grade schemes also constructed with “Gerber Technology” software. Two types of fabric is used for this production – knitted fabric and fabric which is for pen holding and employees document frame. Cutting plan is made next. In this work, production qualities control methods are described, for dimension checking 13 measure’s table and outline are made, which shows accurate place for measuring. Multi-purpose sewing machine, overlock and coverstitch machine are used for products producing. Subsidiary equipment is press and iron. Time for products producing is 22,65 min. The projected number of workers – 20 and planned orders size – 100 units

    Abstract:

    Spare parts management is an essential operation in the supply chain of many companies, owing to its strategic importance in supporting equipment availability and continuity of operations. In many supply chains, the demand of spare parts is inherently more uncertain compared to traditional fast-moving products. This is due to the fact that spare parts demand is highly intermittent, mostly observed with a long period between consecutive orders, where a no demand period is followed by a period of an order signal. As spare parts are critical to the continuity of operations, companies tend to stock more inventories to mitigate the risk of irregular demand pattern. Gerber Technology, a manufacturing company that sells industrial machines and the spare parts that support them, faces challenges in its spare parts demand forecast quality and inventory management. This challenge has recently been negatively impacting the company’s inventory costs and customer service level, where the actual inventory is consistently higher than the targeted level. Meanwhile, higher inventory levels are not being translated into higher service level to its customers. In summary, the company has seen increased costs with a lower service level. Therefore, the aim of this project was to improve the demand forecast accuracy and the spare parts service level of the company while optimizing inventory costs. For this purpose, we used SKU classification for demand categorization and inventory control. With these categorizations, we then allocate the recommended demand forecasting techniques and optimize the inventory levels of the company. By following these processes, we achieved an improvement between 7% to 14% in forecasting accuracy measured by the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). We could also gain up to 3% improvement in service level leading to $1.3M additional revenue opportunity

    Abstract:

    The aim of this work is to create work clothing for hairstylist. Production of working clothes has important requirements. This clothing has to be not only comfortable, but also to suit specific requirements for work place. To make this, it is important to pay attention in garment construction, select right fabrics and furniture. At this work the hairstylist clothing is analyzed and oriented for actual work specific. Waterproof fabric and specified construction is selected for new garment. Specified places are created to improve workers physical activity. One of the common instruments for hairstylists is different types of hairpins. For almost every visitor hairpins are needed and it is hard to reach them every time. To improve this type of work, the functional place at garment is created. This place is specified for hairpins to fasten and right place to reach them. At this garment also a functional pocket is created. This pocket is specified for professional combs to keep. At standard pocket it is hard to pick things from the inside, so this new pocket is designed to make easer for combs to pick up and put in the pocket. This pocket also has a designed cleaning system, for easy cleaning. With the AccuMark Gerber Technology software gradations for modules and expenditures of raw materials are made. The analysis of fabric consumption is made while created different types of garment components in two different fabrics. Garment labeling is selected at actual places at garment and product quality control is done. At the section of production Technology the treatment operations line is represented and technological process scheme is created. Production work float partition and production costs are calculated and garment price is compared with different analogues at the end of the work.     Abstract:

    The objective of this work is to create functional, innovative and comfortable stage and training image, that is adapted in different segment groups, based on static and dynamic measurement data and expert data results, and integrating smart fabrics with innovative design solutions. Literature review covering specialized dance history, modern dance techniquesand modern dance spread in Lithuania, static and dynamic human body measurements, human scanner attributes and clothing requirements for functional clothing was carried out before designing the product. Dance history is necessary in order to demonstrate the consistency of development and the repetition of historical dance elements in the modern dance, to properly analyze the influence of dynamic movements in designing dance clothes. The experimental part consists of two researches: the analysis of static and dynamic anthropometric bodymeasurementsthat helped to discover problematic areas in using a specific modern dancemovement. The results of this study are applied in clothing design section; expert evaluation study that was carried out in order to investigate and determine which anthropometric measurements are the most important for dancers and, taking into account the results, to distribute the priorities. Given the outlook of 2016 fashion trends, a collection of 12 models for contemporary dance dancers was created. The collection was divided into two parts: 6 models for stage image, 6 models for training image. Clothes for stage image are free-falling and wide so as not to hamper human body movements. Training clothes are form-fitting with integrated smart fabrics, but still keep some aspects from stage image – the upper parts are similar. Based on Danish company design techniques and using APS software package „Gerber Technology“, three garments from training image styles have been constructed: women‘s leggings, blouse and sports bra. After deciding constructional and technological solutions, a label for training suit was created that reflected the characteristics of the product. The economic value was calculated after making a comprehensive evaluation of the product. To compare the economic value, three countries have been selected: Lithuania, Belarus, Vietnam. The price of one product was calculated and taking into account the distribution of dance, the annual production was set at 300 pieces
