The experimental data are correlated using a modified Meissner's method. Satisfactory agreements are obtained between the experimental and the calculated results.

NaboichenkoAbstract:Laboratory studies are performed for leaching oxidized nickel ore with Hydrochloric Acid in relation to temperature, leaching duration, and leaching Acid consumption. It is revealed that the amount of Hydrochloric Acid dispensed has the greatest effect on metal extraction into solution. The maximum nickel extraction into solution is 88.2%.

Production of Hydrochloric Acid by refining Hydrochloric Acid by-product from producing chloroacetic Acid

The method for analyzing organic impurities by ultraviolet absorption spectra is determined. The high purity Hydrochloric Acid is produced by Acid washing, absorbing and evaporating. The results of pilot test show that the technology is reasonable, and the quality of refined Hydrochloric Acid reaches the standard of GB320-93.

The Effect of Hydrochloric Acid Concentration on Pickling of Duplex Stainless Steel
2012Co-Authors: Liu Da-lieAbstract:The effect of Hydrochloric Acid concentration on chemical pickling of 2205 duplex stainless steel was studied with electrochemical method,weight-loss method and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Results show that Hydrochloric Acid improves pickling rate,and pickling potentials of chromium depletion layer and matrix decrease with Hydrochloric Acid concentration.But when the Hydrochloric Acid concentration rises to a very high level,oxides of steel surface can′t be cleaned up,and local corrosion will occur.

Corrosion of 434 Stainless Fibres in Hydrochloric Acid
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Co-Authors: Xiong Yang, Jian TongAbstract:The effects of concentration and temperature of Hydrochloric Acid and etching time on the corrosion rates of 434 stainless steel fibres are investigated by using weight loss method,The results show that with the concentration of Hydrochloric Acid increase,the temperature of Hydrochloric Acid rise, etching time prolonging, the corrosion rate of 434 stainless steel fibres is increased, and the corrosion rate of smalldimension of 434 stainless steel fibres faster.Though Cl- of Hydrochloric Acid doesn’t take direct part in the reaction,the corrosion rate is significantly accelerated.
