Nucleus Nucleus potential from Identical particle interference
Physics Letters B, 2018Co-Authors: Ning Wang, Yongxu Yang, Min Liu, Cheng-jian LinAbstract:Abstract Based on the quantum interference between two-Identical-Nucleus scattering at energies around the Coulomb barrier, the barrier positions for 58Ni+58Ni and 16O+16O are extracted from Mott oscillations in the angular distributions around 90° for the first time. The angle separation of pairs of Mott scattering valleys around 90° has a direct relationship with the closest distance between two nuclei in elastic scattering. Together with the barrier height from fusion excitation function, the extracted barrier position provides a sensitive probe to constrain the model predictions for the Nucleus–Nucleus potential barrier.

The Cytogenetical Studies of Male Sterile Line of Nian Type in Wheat
2004Co-Authors: Ji Jun-hua, Zhang Gai-sheng, Wang Xiao-naAbstract:Hybridized wheat male sterile lines of Identical Nucleus 4 alien cytoplasms(Ae.kotschyi,Ae.variabilis,Ae.ventricoca,Ae.bicornis) and alien nuclei (224, 90-110) with a series of wheat varieties on produce. The chromosome mating behavior of F_1 at MI and AI was systematically investigated, and the relationship of the frequency of cells with abnormal chromosome at MI and AI and F_1 selfed seed set was analyzed. The results were as follows:①The F_1 selfed seed set of hybrids was negatively correlated to the frequency of cells with abnormal chromosome at MI and AI,but it is not prominent. The frequency of cells with univalent at MI was positively correlated to the frequency of cells with abnormal chromosome at AI, and it is significant. ②The effect of alien cytoplasms on chromosome mating is different because of the different genetic determinant of male parent. ③The fertility of hybrids F_1 concerns not only chromosome mating but also gene type and environment.
