The area covered with Integra was 180 cm2. Skin grafting to cover Integra was performed on the 28th day. Both Integra and the skin transplant were taken 100%. Integra dermal regeneration template can provide good functional and aesthetic result in the surgical management of extended skin tumors over the skull. Orv. Hetil., 2013, 154, 225–227.

    Abstract:

A szerzők negy ev alatt 10 betegnel (eletkor 25–74 ev, hat nő, negy ferfi) 12 alkalmazasban hasznaltak Integra irharegeneracios matrixot a felső vegtag bőrhianyainak potlasara. Orv. Hetil., 2012, 153, 1351–1355.

  • incidence et microbiologie des complications infectieuses lors d utilisation de la peau artificielle Integra chez le brule
Annales De Chirurgie Plastique Esthetique, 2009
    Co-Authors: L. Bargues, S. Boyer, T. Leclerc, P. Duhamel, E. Bey
    Abstract:

Integra dermal substitute is used as biomaterial after thermal injury. This artificial skin allows temporary coverage after burns excision, transformation of matrix in neo dermis and definitive engraftment. Infections are the most common complication of this technique. The objectives were to evaluate incidence of sepsis, to analyse microbiology and risk factors of developing Integra infections. Patients with acute burns and indications of Integra during five years were retrospectively enrolled. Demographic data, surgical procedures and microbiologic biopsies were collected. Fifty patients (40 + or - 15 years) were studied and 71 surgical procedures using Integra were performed. Burns were extended 45 + or - 21% total body surface area. Placement of Integra was made 15 + or - 11 days after burns and autografts 31 + or - 9 days after placement of Integra. Twenty-one patients had infected Integra (42% of population). A total of 23 Integra infected sites were observed (15 local and eight invasive). Diagnosis of infection was made after 13 + or - 5 days using quantitative cultures. Other sites of infection were respiratory tract (46 pneumonias) and others burned wounds (17 infections outside of Integra. Any risk factor was identified between burns who developed Integra infections and the others. Incidence of infected Integra was higher than in previous studies. Delayed application of Integra after burns could explain higher incidence of infection. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus were more frequently isolated than other pathogens. Standardized technique for wounds coverage with Integra is necessary to reduce incidence of infections and improve functional results in burns patients.

  • Numerical solution of Fredholm Integral equations of the second kind by using Integral mean value theorem II. High dimensional problems
    Applied Mathematical Modelling, 2013
Co-Authors: Mohammad Hossein Heydari, H. Navabpour, Zakieh Avazzadeh, Ghasem Barid Loghmani
    Abstract:

Abstract In this work, we generalize the numerical method discussed in [Z. Avazzadeh, M. Heydari, G.B. Loghmani, Numerical solution of Fredholm Integral equations of the second kind by using Integral mean value theorem, Appl. math. modelling, 35 (2011) 2374–2383] for solving linear and nonlinear Fredholm Integral and integro-differential equations of the second kind. The presented method can be used for solving Integral equations in high dimensions. In this work, we describe the Integral mean value method (IMVM) as the technical algorithm for solving high dimensional Integral equations. The main idea in this method is applying the Integral mean value theorem. However the mean value theorem is valid for multiple Integrals, we apply one dimensional Integral mean value theorem directly to fulfill required linearly independent equations. We solve some examples to investigate the applicability and simplicity of the method. The numerical results confirm that the method is efficient and simple.

    Applied Mathematical Modelling, 2011
Co-Authors: Zakieh Avazzadeh, Mohammad Hossein Heydari, Ghasem Barid Loghmani
    Abstract:

In this paper, we present a new semi-analytical method for solving linear and nonlinear Fredholm Integral and integro-differential equations of the second kind and the systems including them. The main idea in this method is applying the mean value theorem for Integrals. Some examples are presented to show the ability of the model. The results confirm that the method is very effective and simple.

  • the construction of operational matrix of fractional Integration using triangular functions
    Applied Mathematical Modelling, 2015
    Co-Authors: K Maleknejad, M Asgari
    Abstract:

Abstract In this paper the operational matrix of triangular functions for fractional order Integration in the Caputo sense is derived. Also, the operational matrix of fractional Integration is applied for solving multi-order fractional differential equations, Abel’s Integral equations and nonlinear integro-differential equations. This technique is a successful method because of reducing such problems to solve a system of algebraic equations; so, the problem can be solved directly. The advantage of this method is low cost of setting up the equations. Illustrative examples demonstrate accuracy and efficiency of the method.
