Study on PSV601 voltage and reactive power Integrated Control System
2008 Third International Conference on Electric Utility Deregulation and Restructuring and Power Technologies, 2008Co-Authors: Yanjun Jiang, Wenkai JinAbstract:Aiming at the problems existing in present voltage and reactive power Control device of substation, PSV601 voltage and reactive power Integrated Control System is presented in the paper. The PSV601 System takes the local balance of voltage and reactive power by shunt capacitor equipment and on load tap changer. It can maintain the high voltage passing rate and assure the power factor which can realize transmission and service of electrical energy economically. It has wide range of applications and a number of operating mode for users to choose with a friendly interface. During the operation in the substation, the Control strategy can be modified. Though choosing Control strategy freely, it can realize the adjustments of voltage priority or reactive power priority expediently. Comparing with Conventional VQC Systems, it can solve the problem which the action strategy is not fit for the actual situation.

The application of SAE J1939 protocol in Automobile Smart and Integrated Control System

This paper constructed Automobile Smart and Integrated Control System (ASICS) framework with CAN bus, and designed its application layer communication protocol (XMQ J1939) refer to SAE J1939. In order to test the compliance of all ECUs, we developed Compliance Test Computer (CTC), including corresponding software and hardware. Through vehicle test, it concluded that the Automobile Smart and Integrated Control System based on XMQ J1939 work stably, with reliable data communication, favorable real time Control and convenient malfunction diagnosis.

Journal of Energy Resources Technology-transactions of The Asme, 2000Co-Authors: Shoubo Wang, Ram S Mohan, Ovadia Shoham, Jack D Marrelli, Gene KoubaAbstract:The performance of gas-liquid cylindrical cyclone (GLCC ©1 ) separators for two-phase flow metering loop can be improved by eliminating liquid overflow into the gas leg or gas blow-out through the liquid leg, utilizing suitable Integrated Control Systems. In this study, a new Integrated Control System has been developed for the GLCC, in which the Control is achieved by a liquid Control valve in the liquid discharge line and a gas Control valve in the gas discharge line. Simulation studies demonstrate that the Integrated level and pressure Control System is highly desirable for slugging conditions. This strategy will enable the GLCC to operate at constant pressure so as not to restrict well flow and simultaneously prevent liquid carry-over and gas carry-under. Detailed experimental studies have been conducted to evaluate the improvement in the GLCC operational envelope for liquid carry-over with the Integrated level and pressure Control System. The results demonstrate that the GLCC equipped with Integrated Control System is capable of Controlling the liquid level and GLCC pressure for a wide range of flow conditions. The experimental results also show that the operational envelope for liquid carry-over is improved twofold at higher liquid flow rate region and higher gas flow rate region. In this paper, based on the analysis of the topology of MMC, firstly analyzes the essence of energy conversion power quality Integrated Control System of voltage sag compensation, then the energy storage characteristics were calculated and analyzed, the performance index of voltage sag compensation, finally, the simulation method is used to verify the voltage sag compensation characteristics of power quality Integrated Control System.
