    In this demonstration, we present a content-based smart video player, which can help users browse and seek videos in an effective and efficient manner. Through this player, users can easily get recommendations from Local Hard Disk or video sharing Web site, create video summaries, and generate video collage. With the video content analysis techniques, the smart video player brings users better viewing experience.

    UNLABELLED: Genome Browser in a Box (GBiB) is a small virtual machine version of the popular University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) Genome Browser that can be run on a researcher's own computer. Once GBiB is installed, a standard web browser is used to access the virtual server and add personal data files from the Local Hard Disk. Annotation data are loaded on demand through the Internet from UCSC or can be downloaded to the Local computer for faster access.\n\nAVAILABILITY AND IMPLEMENTATION: Software downloads and installation instructions are freely available for non-commercial use at https://genome-store.ucsc.edu/. GBiB requires the installation of open-source software VirtualBox, available for all major operating systems, and the UCSC Genome Browser, which is open source and free for non-commercial use.     The World Wide Web is increasingly important for medical education.Internet served pages may also be used on a Local Hard Disk or CD-ROMwithout a network or server. This allows authors to reuse existingcontent and provide access to users without a network connection. CD-ROMoffers several advantages over network delivery of Web pages for severalapplications. However, creating Web pages for CD-ROM requires carefulplanning. Issues include file names, relative links, directory names,default pages, server created content, image maps, other file types andembedded programming. With care, it is possible to create server basedpages that can be copied directly to CD-ROM. In addition, Web pages onCD-ROM may reference Internet served pages to provide the best featuresof both methods.
