    Abstract:

    ABSTRAKSI: Salah satu teknologi akses yang digunakan selain teknologi berbasis fiber optic adalah teknologi Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) yang menggunakan kabel tembaga sebagai basis teknologinya. Teknologi DSL ini menarik minat dan perhatian implementor dan penyedia layanan (service provider) karena teknologi ini dapat menjanjikan untuk mengirimkan high-bandwidth data dengan hanya melakukan sedikit sekali perubahan terhadap infrastruktur telekomunikasi yang ada. Salah satu teknologi DSL yang banyak digunakan saat ini adalah ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). Dengan ADSL, jaringan akses telepon pelanggan dapat ditingkatkan kemampuannya menjadi jaringan digital berkecepatan tinggi, sehingga selain mendapatkan fasilitas telepon (voice), pelanggan juga dapat melakukan akses internet (dedicated) dengan kecepatan yang tinggi yaitu 1 Mbps untuk downstream dan 384 Kbps untuk upstream. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini dibahas mengenai parameter-parameter yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan eksisting yang ada. Parameter-parameter tersebut antara lain tahanan saluran (Loop Resistance), tahanan isolasi (Insulation Resistance), redaman saluran (Attenuation), redaman cakap silang (Crosstalk), dan Longitudinal Balance. Simulasi layanan pada jaringan ADSL menggunakan program OPNET IT Guru Academic Edition 9.1. Data yang didapat dari pengukuran akan dibandingkan dengan hasil perhitungan secara matematis dari parameter-parameter standar. Selain itu data pengukuran juga akan dibandingkan dengan kualitas standar yang ditetapkan oleh PT. Telkom dan ETSI. Hasil Simulasi jaringan ADSL menggunakan program OPNET IT Guru Academic Edition 9.1.Kata Kunci : Copper-Wire Network, ADSLABSTRACT: Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is technology which using copper cable as its technological bases. DSL draw enthusiasm and attention of implementer and service provider since this technology earn to make a promise to deliver high-bandwidth data without make significant changes in existing telecommunication infrastructure. One of the DSL technologies which are vastly used during this time is ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). In ADSL, subscriber’s telephony access earns to improve its ability become high-speed digital network. Thus, besides getting voice phone facility, subscriber also earns to conduct to dedicated with high speed which 1 Mbps for downstream dan 384 Kbps for upstream. In this Final Paper studied several parameters to know and analyze quality of existing network. The parameters are Loop Resistance, Insulation Resistance, Channel Attenuation, Crosstalk, and Longitudinal Balance. Simulation using OPNET IT Guru Academic Edition 9.1. The data got from measurement will be compared by a calculation result in its mathematical standard for each parameter. Others, the measurements data also will be compared to a standard quality specified by PT. Telkom and ETSI.     Abstract:

    The invention discloses a device for measuring dynamic Resistance of a high-voltage circuit breaker. The device is characterized by at least comprising a super capacitor module (5), a super capacitor charging device (10), a current sampler (4) and a voltage sampler (2), wherein the super capacitor module (5) supplies measuring power supplies with different requirements for measuring switch-on Resistance (11) and Loop Resistance (14) of the high-voltage circuit breaker (3); a charging controller (7) and an electronic switch (16) are controlled by a digital processor (1) so as to control charging and discharging of a super capacitor; and an electric signal is acquired and processed quickly by the digital processor (1) so as to quickly obtain a measuring result on site. Measurement of switch-on Resistance, Loop Resistance and switch-on Resistance making time of the high-voltage circuit breaker is integrated and the measuring results of three parameters can be obtained through one-step measuring operation.

    Abstract:

    This paper studies the method for measuring the Loop Resistance of GIS conductor pole based on the super capacitor producing impulse current up to several thousand amperes. This method overcomes the limitations of conventional diagnostic method. Typical GIS conductor poles are chosen. Based on FEA and lab tests, the effect of different forms of current and contact condition, relationship between the temperature of contact and the Loop Resistance is researched. In full- scale testing under realistic operating conditions on the new 220 kV GIS using prototype instrumentation a very good sensitivity in an early stage was obtained.
