STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS PERIFITON PADA MAKROALGA ULVA LACTUCA DI PERAIRAN PANTAI ULEE LHEUE, BANDA ACEH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas perifiton yang terdiri dari kelimpahan, indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, dan indeks dominansi, serta menghitung luas tutupan makroalga Ulva lactuca. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perifiton pada makroalga Ulva lactuca terdiri dari kelas Bacillariophyceae (13 spesies), kelas Chrysophyceae (1 spesies), kelas Cyanophyceae (3 spesies), kelas Dinophyceae (1 spesies), kelas Gastropoda (1 spesies), kelas Malacostraca (4 spesies), kelas Maxillopoda (1 spesies), kelas Pyramimonadophyceae (1 spesies), dan kelas Ophiuroidea (1 spesies). Kelimpahan perifiton yaitu 51.390-139.220 ind/cm2, dimana setiap titik pengamatan memiliki tutupan makroalga Ulva lactuca yang tergolong kategori sangat baik. Kelas Bacillariophyceae mendominasi di setiap titik pengamatan dengan jumlah rata-rata 56.809 ind/cm2. Indeks keanekaragaman perifiton berkisar 1,87-2,36 tergolong kategori sedang, indeks keseragaman berkisar 0,70-0,86 tergolong kategori tinggi, sedangkan indeks dominansi berkisar 0,12-0,23 tergolong kategori rendah. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh, struktur komunitas perifiton pada makroalga Ulva lactuca di perairan pantai Ulee Lheue menunjukan tekanan ekologi yang sedang dengan tingkat dominansi rendah dan komunitas berada dalam kondisi stabil.Kata Kunci :Indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, indeks dominansi, kelimpahan, perifiton, makroalga Ulva lactuca, Pantai Ulee Lheue.The research about community structure of periphyton on macroalgae Ulva lactuca has been done in coastal waters Ulee Lheue, Banda Aceh. The purpose of this research was to know the periphyton community structure consisting of abundance, diversity index, evenness index, and dominance index, and calculate the area covered macroalgae Ulva lactuca. The research has been started from February until March 2016. The results showed that perifiton on macroalgae Ulva lactuca consists of classes Bacillariophyceae (13 species), class Chrysophyceae (1 species), class Cyanophyceae (3 species), class Dinophyceae (1 species), class Gastropoda (1 species), class Malacostraca (4 species), class Maxillopoda (2 species), class Pyramimonadophyceae (1 species), and class Ophiuroidea (1 species). Abundance of perifiton is 51.390-139.220 ind/cm2 where each observation site has a cover of macroalgae Ulva lactuca were classified as very good category. Bacillariophyceae class dominated in every site with coverage 56.809 ind/cm2. Perifiton diversity index ranged from 1,87 to 2,36 were classified category, evenness index ranged from 0,70 to 0,86 relatively high category, while the dominance index ranged from 0,12 to 0,23 relatively low category. Parásitos y Lesiones Histopatológicas en Branquias de Gamitana (Colossoma macropomum) Juveniles bajo Crianza Semiintensiva

AlbertoAbstract:The aim of this study was to determine the type and frequency of parasites in gamitana gills (Colossoma macropomum) and to describe the associated histopathological lesions. Thirty specimens were taken from a fish farm in Iquitos, Peru. The left branchial arches were placed in Petri dishes with distilled water to observe the presence of parasites and the right arches were fixed with formalin 5% for histopathological studies. Besides, water quality of the pond was analyzed. Three types of ectoparasites were identified: monogeneans, members of the Family Dactylogyridae, Subfamilies Anacanthorinae and Ancyrocephalinae (100%, 30/30), ones protozoan, member of the Family Oodinidae, genus Piscinoodinium (36.7%, 11/30), and one arthropod, member of the Class Maxillopoda, Sub-class Copepoda (20%, 6/30). Among the histopathological lesions, the most common were inflammatory disorders: presence of eosinophilic granule cells (100%), and adaptation disorders: epithelial hyperplasia (96.7%), lamellar fusion (80%) and lamellar atrophy (60%). Moreover, dissolved oxygen was close to lethal levels, pH was acid and CO2 were outside the expected range.El objetivo del presente trabajo fue determinar el tipo y frecuencia de parásitos en branquias de gamitana (Colossoma macropomum) y describir las lesiones histopatológicas asociadas a su presencia. Se trabajó con 30 gamitanas juveniles, tomadas al azar de una piscigranja en Iquitos, Perú. Los arcos branquiales del lado izquierdo fueron colocados en placas Petri con agua destilada para la observación de la presencia de parásitos y los del lado derecho se fijaron en formol al 5% para el estudio histopatológico. Asimismo, se determinó la calidad del agua del estanque. Se identificaron tres tipos de ectoparásitos: monogeneos, pertenecientes a la familia Dactylogyridae, Subfamilias Anacanthorinae y Ancyrocephalinae (100%, 30/30), una especie de protozoo de la Familia Oodinidae, género Piscinoodinium (36.7%, 11/30) y un artrópodo de la Clase Maxillopoda, Subclase Copepoda (20%, 6/30). Dentro de las lesiones histopatológicas se observaron trastornos inflamatorios como presencia de células granulares eosinofílicas (100%) y trastornos de adaptación como hiperplasia del epitelio (96.7%), fusión lamelar (80%) y atrofia lamelar (60%). Asimismo, el oxígeno disuelto estaba en niveles cercanos a los letales, el pH correspondía a un medio ácido y los valores de CO2 se encontraban fuera de los rangos esperados

The aim of this work is to catalogue and analyze the distribution of copepod species (Crustacea, Maxillopoda) in pelagic and littoral zones from small reservoirs in the northwest of the São Paulo State, in dry and rainy seasons (2007 and 2009). Methods: Zooplankton samplings were carried out in littoral and pelagic zones of 13 small shallow reservoirs (mean depth: 2.6 m) using vertical hauls and plankton net (45 µm). O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de caracterizar as comunidades de copépodes (Crustacea, Maxillopoda) pelágicos e litorâneos presentes em pequenos reservatórios na região noroeste do Estado de São Paulo, nas estações seca e chuvosa de 2007 a 2009. MATERIAL E MÉTODOS: As amostragens foram realizadas tanto na zona litorânea quanto pelágica de 13 pequenos reservatórios rasos (média de 2,6 m), através de arrastos verticais com rede de plâncton (45 µm). Parâmetros físicos e químicos da água também foram avaliados utilizando-se o aparelho Horiba® U10. RESULTADOS: Foram identificadas 18 espécies de copépodes, sendo 13 Cyclopoida e 5 Calanoida. Não houve diferença estatística entre as distribuições das espécies nas zonas litorâneas e pelágicas bem como entre as estações. Três espécies ocorreram exclusivamente na zona litorânea - Eucyclops elegans, Paracyclops chiltoni e Mesocyclops ogunnus. As espécies Tropocyclops prasinus e Thermocyclops decipiens foram as mais frequentes nos ambientes estudados. CONCLUSÃO: Nossos dados sugerem que, em reservatórios rasos, Copepoda não apresenta diferenças significativas na ocupação das regiões litorânea e pelágica e que a diversidade de Cyclopoida é maior do que Calanoida. Características tais como baixa profundidade e estado eutrófico podem ser consideradas como condições limitantes para o desenvolvimento de espécies de Calanoida nesses reservatórios estudados
