Dans ce cadre de réflexion, et en lien avec un groupe de travail spécifique, il nous est apparu nécessaire de nous doter d’une exposition multimédia et itinérante qui nous permette de toucher un public non spécialiste, non conquis d’avance, en priorisant, lorsque cela est possible, le jeune public. L’exposition itinérante nous permet de monter un projet sur un temps long, quatre ans d’exploitation envisagée, et de se déplacer en différents lieux de Bretagne. Le réseau des médiathèques, des bibliothèques municipales, des associations est très riche et constitue un maillage qui quadrille efficacement le territoire. Le groupe de travail fonctionne comme un comité éditorial et un groupe de ressources documentaires. Reste à dépasser l’apparente contradiction qui nous enjoint à « Représenter l’immatériel ». Heureusement, l’immatériel n’implique pas une dématérialisation et l’exposé témoignera des différents supports qui ont été utilisés pour diffuser cette notion auprès du plus grand nombre.Bretagne Culture Diversité is an association and one of our jobs is to carry out an ongoing inventory of Brittany’s intangible cultural heritage. The touring exhibition is enabling us to mount a project for the long term, with a four-year operation being considered, and to travel to venues all over Brittany. There is an extensive network of Media Resource Centres, town libraries and associations stretching across the region. The working group operates as an editorial committee and a documentary Resource group. We now need to overcome the apparent contradiction that requires us to ‘embody the intangible’. Fortunately, intangible does not mean dematerialized and the presentation will demonstrate the various Media used to spread this concept to the widest audience possible

Teachers’ Attitudes towards the Use of Instructional Resources in Teaching of the Novel
English Language and Literature Studies, 2014Co-Authors: Rotumoi Joseph, Lydia Cheruto KipkoechAbstract:This study set out to investigate the varieties of instructional materials that are available and used for teaching the novel in selected secondary schools in Baringo District. The research was guided by Piaget's Cognitive Theory which has laid a strong case for the use of instructional Media in instruction as it facilitates understanding of literary concepts and ideas. The study is a descriptive survey which was concerned with making accurate assessment of incidence, distribution and relationship of phenomena. Stratified random sampling was used to select the 12 secondary schools from which two form 3 and 4 literature teachers were selected to participate in this research. Descriptive data was collected by administering questionnaires and observing teachers during literature lessons. Evidence and deduction from data analysis revealed that most of the schools had some of the recommended novels but very few of the non-book instructional materials for teaching the subject. In addition, financial and administrative support was not easily obtainable and the novel was taught through verbal presentation. Recommendations are made with respect availability and use of instructional Resources relevant for teaching the novel and the establishment of National and District instructional Media Resource Centres.
