    Abstract:

    The Pb-Zn-Ag of multi-Metalliferous Ore in Tibet is very difficult to recovery,as the lead,zinc,pyrrhotite and pyrite are interacted with each other in sulfide Ore.Generally,the fine pyrrhotite is distributed in the zinc minerals by the litter drops,which is difficult to hold the high grade zinc concentrate. It is difficult to separate zinc from other sulfide Ore,because the floatability of pyrrhotite and pyrite is as better as zinc.Based on the nature of the multi-metal Ore,many trails by one-stage grinding flotation process were investigated to recover lead,zinc,silver,pyrrhotite and pyrite.Meantime,condition tests were tested,optimum processes and technological parameters were determined by the closed circuit trials.The final index of trails are as follows:the lead concentrate grade of Pb 61.02%,recovery of Pb 90.97%,grade of Ag 2 018.4g/t,recovery of Ag 84.49%,grade of Zn 5.23%;the zinc concentrate:grade of Zn 47.85%,recovery of Zn 83.92%,grade of Ag 65.62g/t,grade of Pb 1.54%.The grade and recovery of the lead and zinc concentrate are increased significantly,which makes the complex multi-Metalliferous Ore mOre useful.

    Abstract:

    The passage studied on the technological mineralogy of the Ore.A great deal of flotation condition experiments have been done on the basis of the chemical composition,the mineral composition,the occurrence and the embedded characteristics of the Ore.According to the experiments,the optimum technological parameters and processes have been chosen and the closed-circuit fluid tests have been operated,which have a wonderful separation indexes.It was beneficial to utilize fully the limited mineral resources of the state and offer trustiness considerations for designing.

    This book is a compilation of available information pertinent to Bolivian mineral deposits; published in 2009, it is the English edition of a volume first published, in 2007, in Spanish. Bolivia has a history of significant mining that dates back hundreds of years, a testament to the global importance of these deposits. The country hosts a broad diversity of deposit types and has considerable, although not well understood, potential for undiscovered deposits. Until publication of this volume, however, no single, readily accessible publication synthesized the available information on all known deposits. With publication of this book, Osvaldo R. Arce Burgoa has compiled and synthesized a noteworthy body of information relevant to Bolivian metallic mineral deposits. Although similar collections of data and interpretations have been assembled, this is the first new (and the only English-language) compilation in several decades. It contains abundant new and updated information appropriately placed in a modern mineral deposit-Ore genesis conceptual framework. Metallic mineral deposits have always been a significant component of the Bolivian economy and are likely to remain so for years to come.     Background, aim, and scope Elevated levels of heavy metals in the aquatic and soil systems can be caused by the weathering of mineralized rocks. This enrichment is often considerably enlarged by historical and current mining and smelting activities. In Poland, the most contaminated river systems are those in the Silesia region. The Metalliferous Ore mining and smelting industries have been the main sources of heavy metal pollutions over the last 100–170 years. The previous and present studies have shown very high concentrations of heavy metals in the bottom sediments of the Mala Panew River, the most polluted tributary of the Oder River. The main objective of this work was to study temporary changes of selected metal (Zn, Pb, and Cd) concentrations in upper layer of bottom sediments at the measuring point near the outlet of the Mala Panew River into the Oder River, and to determine the vertical distribution of the metals in the sediment cOres from the most polluted middle part of this river. The mobility of the metals and their potential bioavailability were assessed based on metal partitioning in the sediments and metal concentrations in pOre waters. The presented data were compared with metal concentrations in aquatic sediments from similar historical mining and smelting sites in Poland and other countries.

    Abstract:

    Abstract In the area of Gyongyosoroszi mining activity was in progress between 1945 and 1985. A complex survey was carried out to assess the impacts of the mining activity. The survey covered the sampling, analysis and data evaluation of waste material, soils from several parts of the village, water samples from the brooks and lakes, sediments from the surface waters and plants growing in home gardens and in fields. Results of the environmental survey indicated that heavy metal contamination of the examined area is due to mining activity and this creates a high ecological risk; remediation of the contaminated area was designed.
