  • Atmospheric‐Air Plasma Surface Modification of Polyethylene Powder
    Plasma Processes and Polymers, 2008
    Co-Authors: J. Píchal, J. Hladik, Petr Spatenka
    Abstract:

The surface Modification of polyethylene powder using a plasma reactor based on a dielectric barrier discharge in air at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature is investigated. The process is inexpensive, and the necessity of any vacuum equipment and technical gases is alleviated. The efficiency of the Modification process was successfully demonstrated by ESCA measurements that proved formation of new functional groups at the modified powder surface. The Modification effect was also evaluated by means of dynamic capillarity rising measurements. Powder capillarity tests proved significant powder capillarity changes. The reduction of the Modification effect was also limited (max. reduction of about 20% during 1 100 d after the Modification Date).

  • DBD Modification of polyethylene powder hydrophobicity
    Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 2006
    Co-Authors: J. Píchal, J. Hladik, L. Aubrecht, Petr Spatenka
    Abstract:

Problems of the powder particles plasma Modification are practically the same as in the case of solid films. Troubles of the powder treatment are related with its three-dimensional character, small size of particles, treated large area and problems with powder manipulation, that also must not be neglected. For Modification of polymer powder surface properties like wettability and adhesion without changing powder bulk properties there have been mostly applied methods employing low temperature (cold) plasma treatment at low pressures. Presented contribution describes design and investigation of a novel plasma reactor exploiting the dielectric barrier discharge burning in air at atmospheric pressure by ambient temperature and its usability tests. For tests HDPE powder Borealis CB 9155-01 was used. This plasma reactor is of a very simple construction in comparison with other in literature described apparatuses used for this purpose and needs no vacuum equipment. Powder capillarity tests had proved significant powder capillarity changes induced by DBD plasma Modification. Modification effect reduction (aging) is remarkably small (max. reduction about 20% in one year after the Modification Date), hence Modification effect is very time stable.

  • file synchronization using api google drive on android operating system
    2013
    Co-Authors: Agustinus Noertjahyana, Justinus Andjarwirawan
    Abstract:

Abstract— Nowadays, most people use mobile devices to perform tasks and work. There are so many sites offering online storage. Google drive deliver online services with a large capacity today. Google Drive have lots of features that make them really competitive among all their competitors, that feature is the make user may edit edit the document on their site and share documents for collaborative work with others. Google Drive online storage is created to answer the current lifestyle of people all over the world. Most people use more than one device. By using online storage, the data could be accessed online anytime anywhere. Problem that happens is people want to get the latest version of each file on each device. To overcome these problems could be use a file synchronization feature. This research will focus on two way file synchronization. By using Date comparison method, file with the latest Modification Date will be altering the older file. By implementation of this method both storage will always have the latest upDated file. All synchronization and other processes such as compare, upload, download, share, and upDate will be done based on Google Drive APIs.

  • Sinkronisasi File Pada Google Drive Berdasarkan Perbandingan File Modification Date
    2013
Co-Authors: Kevin Darmawan Limantoro, Justinus Andjarwirawan, Agustinus Noertjahyana
    Abstract:

Online storage such Google Drive is created to answer current lifestyle of people all over the world. Nowadays, most people use more than one device, especially for those who lived on advance country. Using online storage, not only their data is safe but also can be accessed anytime online. The thing is most of these people want to have the latest version from a file in all their device. To always keep and upDate the latest version of file, these people can use synchronization. Because of that, this application is able to do two way file synchronization which is from android device to Google Drive and also otherwise from Google Drive into the android device is made on this final assignment. The method I will use is Date comparation, so file with latest Modification Date will be duplicated to replace the older file. With this method both storage will always have the latest upDated file. All synchronization and other processes like compare, upload, download, share, and upDate will be use based on function Google Drive API. Application will be made using Java version of Eclipse IDE combined with Android Development Tool, because this application will run on android platform devices.
