The study of gastrointestinal nutrition complication in old critial patients using by improved Nose Feeding method
Chinese Journal of Geriatric Care, 2009Co-Authors: Dai XiufangAbstract:Objective To investigate the effect of improved Nose Feeding method on the old critial patients' gastrointestinal nutrition complication. Methods Compared the traditional(control group) and improved Nose Feeding(experimental group) used in gastrointestinal nutrition complication of old critial patients.Experimental group:Whole nutrition liquid with blood transfusion tube were dripping into Nose continually, control group was used by tradition Nose Feeding methods(nutrition fluid as experimental group),compared the astrointestinal complication in the two groups(vomit and countercurrent, misabsorb, bluge, diarrhea, digestive tract bleed, astriction). Results The gastrointestinal complication curent rate in experimental group is lower than that in control group, the different is significantly(P0.05).Conclusion The improved method can be used in old critial patients safely, and has clinical meaning in maintaining digestive tract construction, function, decreasing complication, promoting nutrition situation and improving prognosis.

Clinical observation of rhubarb preventing multiple organ dysfunction syndrome after severe brain injury
Chinese critical care medicine, 2001Co-Authors: Xu XiaozhuAbstract:Objective:To observe the effective way to preventing the occurrence of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS) after serious brain injury. Methods:One hundred and ten cases with serious closed brain injury were randomly divided into two groups.Fortytwo patients were treated with wellrhubarb(精黄片) through Nose Feeding in early periods(treatment group),and 68 patients were treated with conventional therapy(control group).Multiple organ injury were observed, the serum endotoxin and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) were detected in both groups. Results:Compared with control group in 68 cases, the occurrence rate of MODS was reduced from 57 35% to 35 72%,the mortality was dropped from 36 77% to 28 57%,the reduction of damages was obvious especially in hepar, gastrointestine and respiratory system in the treatment group. The level of the serum endotoxin and TNF were reduced obviously ( P 0 05 and P 0 01).Conclusions:Rhubarb has an obviously effect on preventing MODS occurrence after severe brain injury.

The Nursing of Gastrointestinal Nutrition Complication in Brain Trauma Patients Using by Improved Nose Feeding Method
International Journal of Nursing, 2006Co-Authors: Zhang Yu-pinAbstract:Objective To probe into the effect of improved Nose Feeding method on the brain trauma patients' gastrointestinal nutrition complication .Methods Compared the traditional(control group) and improved Nose Feeding (experimental group) used in gastrointestinal nutrition complication of brain trauma patients. Experimental group: Combined fluidity or whole nutrition liquid in transfusion bottle with blood transfusion tube were dripping into Nose continually (GCS 4~8 ) , control group was used by tradition Nose Feeding methods ( nutrition fluid as experimental group), compared the gastrointestinal complication in the two groups ( vomit and countercurrent , misabsorb, bluge, diarrhea, digestive tract bleed, astriction). Results The gastrointestinal complication current rate in experimental group is lower than that in control group, the different is significantly (P0.01).Conclusion The improved method can be used in brain trauma patients safely, and has clinical meaning in maintaining digestive tract construction , function, decreasing complication, promoting nutrition situation and improving prognosis, and can height the nursing work efficiency.

The belly rules the Nose: Feeding state-dependent modulation of peripheral chemosensory responses
Current opinion in neurobiology, 2012Co-Authors: Piali SenguptaAbstract:Feeding history and the presence of food dramatically alter chemosensory behaviors. Recent results indicate that internal nutritional state can gate peripheral gustatory and olfactory sensory responses to affect behavior. Focusing primarily on recent work in C. elegans and Drosophila, I describe the neuromodulatory mechanisms that translate Feeding state information into changes in chemosensory neuron response properties and behavioral output.

Clinical observation of pacheng formulad for promotde defection of serious brain brain function failuersipatmts in Nose Feeding
Nei Mongol Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 2011Co-Authors: Wang HongAbstract:Objective:To approch the treatment value of Dachengqi decoction on brain function failure with intestinal failure Methods: 24 cases of cerebral dysfunction in patients with intestinal failure, routine treatment for more than 5 days, no bowel movement, give Dachengqitang treatment, use of injection points in nasal Feeding tube and administered twice a day。 If the first bowel movement after administration to stop the second dose,, If 24 hours have not defecation, and then administered a dose of the original program, combined with glycerin 100ml enema given. If patients had fecal incontinence, excluding inappropriate antibiotic associated diarrhea and diarrhea caused by enteral Feeding, nasogastric Feeding for montmorillonite powder,, Results:24 patients were administered within 48 hours after defecation, in which defecation within 12 hours after administration in 6 patients, 24 hours, 11 cases defecation and 7 cases 48 hours .,fecal incontinence -Stool frequency of 1-5 times in 3 cases. Bowel evacuation in patients with thin paste it over to a small number were water samples, stool volume ranged from 300-2000mi。Not found adverse effects on heart rate, blood pressure , CVP and Electrolyte Conclusions :
