De hoogste vastgestelde dosis is 3,0 microsievert. Dit blijkt uit controlemetingen van het RIVM. Het RIVM rapporteert jaarlijks in opdracht van de Autoriteit Nucleaire Veiligheid en Stralingsbescherming (ANVS) en toetst of COVRA N.V. aan de vergunningseis voldoet. COVRA N.V. moet ervoor zorgen dat personen buiten de terreingrens aan maximaal 40 microsievert per jaar worden blootgesteld. Dat is in de kernenergiewetvergunning bepaald. Om de maximale effectieve dosis te berekenen wordt het gammastralingsniveau op twaalf locaties langs de terreingrens gemeten. Dit gebeurt met het MONET-meetnet, dat in beheer is van het RIVM. Van de metingen wordt vervolgens de hoeveelheid die van nature voorkomt afgetrokken (natuurlijke achtergrondwaarde). De resulterende meetwaarde wordt gecorrigeerd met de zogeheten Actuele Blootstellings Correctiefactor (ABC-factor). Een ABC-factor hangt samen met de bestemming van het gebied waar de effectieve gammastralingsdosis kan worden opgelopen. RIVM is tasked by the Authority of Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) to report annually on whether COVRA N.V. meets the criterion specified in its Operating License. COVRA N.V. is required to ensure that the maximum effective dose received by persons outside the site boundary of COVRA N.V. does not exceed 40 microsievert annually, as specified in its Operating License. In order to determine the maximum effective dose, gamma radiation is measured at twelve locations along the site boundary. The measurements are carried out within the framework of the MONET monitoring network, which falls under the administrative management of the RIVM. The measurements are analysed by subtracting the natural background value. The resulting measurement data are corrected using the Actuele Blootstelling Correctiefactor (or ABC factor, meaning actual exposure correction factor). An ABC factor takes into account the specific use of the area where exposure to the gamma dose may occur. This translates into a maximum effective dose of 3.0 microsievert per year, which is far below the maximum permitted annual gamma dose. This report provides the daily averages of the radiation dose recorded by the MONET monitors at the boundary of the COVRA N.V. site in 2019, and explains how the background level at each measuring location was determined.ANV

Journal of Korean Institute of Fire Science and Engineering, 2012Co-Authors: Weekyong Kim, Keesi JeongAbstract:The purpose of fire protection for the nuclear power plants (NPPs) is to ensure safe shutdown state of the reactor, to minimize the release of radioactive materials to the environment, to provide physical safety of the on-site personnel, and to limit the property damage. Fire protection and extinguishing equipments are one of the important protection measures based on the defense-in-depth concept, which can promptly detect and control and extinguish those fires that do occur, thereby limiting fire damage. However, a separate evaluation process might be additionally necessary for the construction permit and Operating License because the fire protection laws of the NEMA for installation standards of the fire protection systems is not fully characterized for the NPPs. It is also not easy to implement the regulations such as the performance based design concept for fire protection system of the NPPs which are characterized for a relatively low density of employee. This study suggests a guideline for the improvement of the technical standards for fire protection systems of the NPPs by evaluating the fundamental problems drawn by reviewing laws and regulatory guides relevant to fire protection and by evaluating the applicability of the KEPIC FPN in domestic nuclear power plants.

2013Co-Authors: O K Chopra, Dwight Diercks, D C, Yogendra S GarudAbstract:At the request of the United States (U.S.) government, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) assembled a team of 20 senior safety experts to review the regulatory framework for the safety of Operating nuclear power plants in the United States. This review focused on the effectiveness of the regulatory functions implemented by the NRC and on its commitment to nuclear safety and continuous improvement. One suggestion resulting from that review was that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) incorporate lessons learned from periodic safety reviews (PSRs) performed in other countries as an input to the NRC’s assessment processes. In the U.S., commercial nuclear power plants (NPPs) are granted an initial 40-year Operating License, which may be renewed for additional 20-year periods, subject to complying with regulatory requirements. The NRC has established a framework through its inspection, and operational experience processes to ensure the safe operation of Licensed nuclear facilities on an ongoing basis. In contrast, most other countries do not impose a specific time limit on the Operating Licenses for NPPs, they instead require that the utility Operating the plant perform PSRs, typically at approximately 10-year intervals, to assure continued safe operation until the next assessment. The staff contracted with Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne) to perform a pilot review of selected translated PSR assessment reports and related documentation from foreign nuclear regulatory authorities to identify any potential new regulatory insights regarding License renewal-related topics and NPP Operating experience (OpE). A total of 14 PSR assessment documents from 9 countries were reviewed. For all of the countries except France, individual reports were provided for each of the plants reviewed. In the case of France, three reports were provided that reviewed the performance assessment of thirty-four 900-MWe reactors of similar design commissioned between 1978 and 1988. All of the reports reviewed were the regulator’s assessment of the PSR findings rather than the original PSR report, and all but one were English translations from the original language. In these reviews, it was found that most of the countries base their regulatory guidance to some extent (and often to a large extent) on U.S. design codes and standards, NRC regulatory guidance, and U.S. industry guidance. In addition, many of the observed operational technical issues and OpE events reported for U.S. reactors are also cited in the PSR reports. The PSR reports also identified a number of potential technical material/component performance issues and OpE events that are not commonly reported for U.S. plants.

OLS method was used via SPSS 20.0 to run the data used in the research with findings that; there exist a strong positive relationship between CIT and Corporate Profitability of Deposit Money Banks (DMB’s) in Nigeria and recommends a reduction in CIT rate with attendant increase in Education Tax (EDT) since buoyancy of the education sector (ceteris paribus) is expected to transcend in enhancement of Marginal Productivity of Labour which have positive spill over effect on Corporate Profitability in the longrun. Caracterización de la formalización, el financiamiento y la rentabilidad de las micro y pequeñas empresas del sector industrial - rubro panadería, en el distrito de Trujillo, en el periodo 2018

La investigación fue descriptiva y transversal. Para el recojo de la información se escogió la muestra de 241 micro y pequeñas empresas de una población total de 363 micro y pequeñas empresa, a quienes de les aplicó un cuestionario de 35 preguntas a través de la técnica de la encuesta y la entrevista que se dirigió a los administradores o dueños de las micro y pequeñas empresas que constituyen la muestra con lo cual se obtuvo los siguientes resultados: El 48% de los representantes de las micro y pequeñas empresas están siendo dirigidas por personas adultas entre 41 a 50 años, y el 64% cuentan con grados de instrucción superior, el 59 % están siendo representadas por personas del sexo masculino. En la variable de formalización el 52% de las micro y pequeñas empresas tienen más de 3 años de presencia en el mercado. El 100% de micro empresas tiene de 1 a 10 trabajadores y asimismo las pequeñas empresas cuentan con el 100% de 11 a 50 trabajadores. El 100% de los encuestados de las micro y pequeñas empresas se encuentran dentro de lo que establece la Ley N° 28015, LEY DE PROMOCIÓN Y FORMALIZACIÓN DE LA MICRO Y PEQUEÑA EMPRESA. El 97% de las microempresas y el 100% de las pequeñas empresas cuentan con licencia de funcionamiento. El 100% de las micro y pequeñas empresas no se encuentran afiliados a una asociación de panaderos en la ciudad de Trujillo. En nuestra segunda variable de financiamiento el 66% de micro empresarios y el 50% de pequeños empresarios solicitan préstamos en cajas municipales. El 50 % de micro empresas han solicitado el financiamiento a corto plazo y el 59% de pequeñas empresas han solicitado el financiamiento a mediano plazo. En nuestra tercera variable de rentabilidad el 46 % de las micro empresas se encuentran con una rentabilidad económica de activos entre el 10% a 15% y el 40% de las pequeñas empresas se encuentran con una rentabilidad económica de activos de un 15 % a más. El 44% de micro empresarios usan como estrategia para mejorar su rentabilidad la obtención de préstamos, y el 75 % de pequeños empresarios usan como estrategia la reducción de costos para mejorar su rentabilidad.The present research had as a general objective to present characteristics of formalization, access to financing and degree of profitability of both micro- and small-enterprises under the section of bakeries of the industrial sector, in the district of Trujillo, in 2018. The present research was descriptive and transversal. To collect data,a sample of 241 micro-and small-enterprises was chosenout of a total population of 363 micro- and small-enterprises. A questionnaire of 35 questions was applied to the micro- and small-enterprises through surveys and interviews obtaining the following results: 48% of the representatives of micro- and small-enterprises are adults aged 41 to 50 years old; 64% of the representatives have higher education degrees; 59% of the representatives are men.
