  • Imitation models in decision-making systems
2012 7th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2012
    Co-Authors: F. Pashchenko, A.f. Pashchenko
    Abstract:

The problems of constructing of decision support systems for Operational Staff in the management of hi risk productions are observed. The basic requirements and functionality of systems are described. The proposed decision-making systems are using adaptive algorithms of modeling and synthesis of management decisions. The problems of control with the use of “trend” models and the convergence of adaptive algorithms in a closed circuit are investigated.

  • Predictive simulation models in decision support systems
2009 International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies, 2009
    Co-Authors: F. Pashchenko
    Abstract:

Developing information systems of decision support by Operational Staff in the control of high risk production issues are considered. The basic requirements and the functional capabilities of systems are described. An approach to the justification of control based on the trend models is given.

  • Condition monitoring of railway signalling - does it have a future and can the signalling supplier help?
IEE Seminar on Railway Condition Monitoring Why? What? How?, 2005
    Co-Authors: J. Clark
    Abstract:

A railway signalling company's main role is to design and supply signalling systems and products. However in-service operation is crucial to the smooth running of the railway, and suppliers have to be equally aware of the needs of maintenance and Operational Staff. Remote condition monitoring can play a big part in fault prevention and maintenance efficiency: signalling suppliers can contribute, not only by incorporating sensible RCM outputs in their equipment, but in providing properly integrated information on the signalled railway to the people who need it. • Psychological empowerment and its associated factors among Operational Staff of tehran emergency center
Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2018
Co-Authors: Aram Ghaniyoun, Mohammad Heidari, Khosro Shakeri
    Abstract:

Introduction: Emergency medical personnel often face chronic stress which, in many situations causes psychological problems. In this regard, psychological empowerment can reduce psychological tensions in health care environment through increasing efficiency and motivation. Aim: To investigate psychological empowerment and its related factors in Operational Staff of Tehran Emergency Center (TEC). Materials and Methods: In this analytical study, a total of 285 people were selected by simple sampling method from 1100 Operational Staff of TEC. Data was collected using demographic information and Spritzer’s psychological empowerment questionnaire. SPSS/19 software and descriptive analytical tests were used for data analysis. Results: The findings suggested that most of the participants (46%) were in intermediate level in terms of psychological empowerment, and the mean score of psychological empowerment in participants was 46.43. A significant correlation was found between the dimension of self-determination of psychological empowerment and work experience (p

Conclusion: Owing to the critical duties of medical emergency centers in maintaining and improving public health, and based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the authorities should pay more attention to the capabilities of the Staff while giving responsibilities to them and to conduct effective planning in this regard.

  • the association of psychological empowerment and job burnout in Operational Staff of tehran emergency center
Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine, 2017
Co-Authors: Aram Ghaniyoun, Khosro Shakeri, Mohammad Heidari
    Abstract:

Background: Workers in social service professions are the first candidates for job burnout. The researchers believe this is due to daily exposure to stressful situations and lack of positive conditions in the workplace. It seems that psychological empowerment of Staff can affect their job burnout. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between psychological empowerment and job burnout in Operational Staff of emergency center. Methods: This was a descriptive correlational study. A total of 1100 Operational Staff of emergency center were evaluated, and of which, 285 persons were selected by simple random sampling method. Data were collected using Spritzer's psychological empowerment and Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaires. SPSS software, version 18, was used for data analysis along with descriptive analytical tests. Results: The findings of this study revealed that the majority of units (46%) were in intermediate level in terms of empowerment. Similarly, the majority of cases had intermediate level (77.5%), and a minor percentage (8.4%) had low levels of job burnout. Based on Pearson's correlation test, there was a significant invert correlation between psychological empowerment and job burnout. This inverse and significant relationship was also observed between the four components of psychological empowerment (competence, self-determination, impact, and meaning) and job burnout. Conclusions: According to the results of the study, policy makers and health planners can take some measures in enhancing psychological empowerment to prevent problems associated with job burnout, by identifying stressors and strategies to deal with them.
