Evaluation of The Comfort Properties of Pile Fabrics

AlandeganiAbstract:The Pile Fabrics industry is one of the most important and popular textile industries in the world market, due to its high ability to provide warmth and resistance to wrinkle and high drapeability, In addition to the ability of Fabrics to absorb liquids. The objective of the research is to evaluate the comfort properties of cotton and bamboo Fabrics and to find the relationship between the factors and variables of the Pile production and these properties. The purpose of the Fabric: the purpose of the Pile Fabric is to obtain the largest possible surface of threads and Fabrics to help the drying process, which is the primary purpose of the Fabric. Research problem: There are different types of Pile Fabrics that are used for various purposes and are produced from different textile materials. There is not enough research to explain the quality of some species in terms of comfort properties. In addition to that identifying the factors and variables that affect the quality of these Fabrics and their suitability for the purpose for which they were produced. Aim of the research: The research aims to identify and evaluate the comfort properties of the Pile Fabrics, which produced from cotton and bamboo materials and to identify the most important variables of the production of Piles that affect these properties. Results were statically analyzed using the statics program (SPSS). The T-test was performed to study the difference between the results of the comfort properties of both cotton and bamboo. The multiple regression model could also be found to establish the relationship between the Piles variables as independent factors and the results of every comfort properties for both cotton and bamboo Fabrics. The results confirmed that the independent factor (Pile high) has the greatest effect on most of the properties followed by the leveling factor (Piles density) except for the air permeability. The results were graphically been represented, and the results showed that bamboo material outperformed the cotton Fabrics in most comfort properties except static electricity and softness. It was also found that the Pile variables production were directly proportional to both the amount of water absorption and the amount of thermal insulation. The lack of effect on the static electricity property and were inversely proportional to the rest of the comfort properties.

Effect of structure pamarents on thermal-moisture comfort of cut Pile Fabric
Textile Research Journal, 2014Co-Authors: Zhang XinjiAbstract:In order to study the thermal-moisture comfort of Fabric,11 kinds specifications of cut Pile Fabrics were knitted using moisture absorbent and dry fast,low-elastic interlaced polyester yarn. The effect of the wool length,under-yarn feeding amount and linear density,etc. on the thermal-moisture comfort propertie was investigated by experiment method. The relationship between structure parameters and Fabric permeability quantity,wicking height,warmth retention rate was found through the regression analysis. The results show that the structural parameters of wool length,under-yarn feeding amount and linear density have significant influence on the thermal-moisture comfort of the cut Pile Fabric. The wool length was significant influence on permeability and thermal insulation. There were negative and positive correlation between wool length of cut Pile Fabric and air permeability and clo value,respectively. The under-yarn feeding amount has a positive correlation with moisture permeability and its correlation coefficient was 0. 997 3.

Plush consolidation fastness of weft cut Pile Fabric
Textile Research Journal, 2014Co-Authors: Zhang JitinAbstract:In order to reduce hair removal of weft cut Pile Fabric during wearing and improve softness and grade,the plush consolidation fastness of weft cut Pile Fabric is studied.Based on the force analysis of weft cut Pile Fabric loop and dehairing process,it is considered that selection of suitable raw materials is beneficial for the improvement of the resistance between plush and yarns.In the meanwhile,the factors influencing plush consolidation fastness are clarified from the base cloth density,plush consolidation method,finishing and other aspects.Then corresponding measures to improve the plush consolidation fastness in the production are put forward.

Simulation of jacquard Pile Fabric based on texture synthesis
Textile Research Journal, 2014Co-Authors: Cong HongliaAbstract:In order to realize the simulation function of jacquard Pile Fabric in a computer,a simulation method of jacquard Pile Fabric based on texture synthesis is put forward in this paper. Through the understanding of the characteristics of texture image,the texture characteristics of the jacquard Pile Fabric are concluded. The basic model and the principle of the texture synthesis algorithm are further studied.Furthermore,a mathematical method is used to describe the simulation problem of the jacquard Pile knitted Fabric. On this basis,the simulation process of the jacquard Pile knitted Fabric is explained in this paper,and a jacquard Pile knitted Fabric texture synthesis algorithm based on the texture growth and texture filling is put forward,a changing color model and search strategy are applied in the texture growth,and the texture filling part performs diffusion processing on the filling boundary. Finally,the simulation steps of the jacquard Pile knitted Fabric are introduced,and the simulation results of the jacquard Pile knitted Fabric are shown.

On this basis,the method and technological key points of the pattern design and looming process design for double-needle bar jacquard plush are described. Then,taking the process practice of concave-convex stereo velvet and sparse and dense stereo velvet for an example,and the design ideas and characteristics of jacquard warp-knitted Pile Fabric are demonstrated. Finally,the future development direction of the double needle bed jacquard warp-knitted Pile is summarized.
