This transport vechicle adopts heavy design, and cooperation ground heavy rail is particularly suitable for the mill and is used for the workshop transportation between the process, this transport vechicle adopts safe low pressure (48V) power supply, is aided with rail body, the wheel receives the electricity body as the power, avoids using the cable conductor to drag, be equipped with fairing, the high moment of torsion direct current motor of low pressure in the automobile body, when providing powerful drive power for operating personnel's safety is protected.   • Investigation of the Characteristics of the Electrodynamic Wheel Suspension Device With Two-DOF Motion

    Abstract:

    A three-dimensional (3-D) derivation of an analytical model for an electrodynamic wheel suspension (EDWS) device is proposed in this article. The equations for source field generated by a Halbach wheel are derived by the superposition principle of magnetic charge sheets. The eddy current field distribution within the semicircular Pipe Track is modeled using the second-order vector potential (SOVP) theory. The analytical models describing fields and forces are validated by both finite element simulations and experimental results. In addition, the characteristics of the EDWS device with two-degree-of-freedom (DOF) motions are studied based on the proposed equations.

  • Robotic Edge-Rolling Manipulation: A Grasp Planning Approach

    Abstract:

    This letter presents a novel robotic manipulation technique that we call robotic edge rolling . It refers to transporting a cylindrical object by rolling on its circular edge, as human workers might maneuver a gas cylinder on the ground. Our robotic edge rolling is achieved by controlling the object to both roll on its bottom edge in contact with the ground and slide on the surface of the robot's end effector. It can thus be regarded as a form of robotic dexterous, in-hand manipulation with nonprehensile grasps. We address the problem of grasp planning for edge rolling by studying how to design appropriately shaped end effectors with zero internal mobility and how to find feasible grasps for stably rolling the object quasi-dynamically with our simple end effectors. An extensive set of experiments is performed with a conventional manipulator arm on not only flat surfaces but also a U-shaped half-Pipe Track. Long-range edge rolling is demonstrated with a modular mobile manipulator that is capable of active steering control.
