    Abstract:

    The PLC(Programmable Logical Controller),digital communication and redundant techniques are applied in the rod Control and position indication System(namely the reactor Power Control System)to perform the Power Control in the 300 MW reactor automatically and integrally in Qinshan Phase I project.This paper introduces the features,digital design methods of hardware of the instrumentation and Control System(IC) in the reactor Power Control.It is more convenient for the information exchange by human-machine interface(HMI),operation and maintenance,and the System reliability has been greatly improved after the project being reconstructed.

    Abstract:

    In order to meet the requirements of the long-time continuous operation,reliability and security of the reactor Power Control System in nuclear Power plant,this paper presents a novel strategy based on the dual redundancies of CPU,Power supply and ControlNet field-bus network.Digital modification design is used to replace the traditional analog Control System in reactor Power to perform reliable Control.The System reliability and availability are assessed by calculating and analyzing the main reliability parameters quantitatively.

  • Design and Application of Reactive Power Control System for Wind Farm

    Abstract:

    To solve the voltage stability and Control issues caused by large-scale wind Power integration into grid,a multi-mode and multi-objective reactive Power Control strategy is proposed for wind farms with variable speed and constant frequency wind turbines.Based on this,a reactive Power Control System for wind farm is developed.The design program of the System structure,main function modules and interfaces are introduced.A test is carried out at Shanghai Fengxian Haiwan wind farm.The result shows that the strategy is correct and the wind farm will provide reactive Power support to the point of interconnection by regulating reactive output helping to maintain voltage stability in the grid.

    Abstract:

    Abstract Automation Systems are much diverse at wind farms in China, so wind Power Control is relatively simple and extensive. An idea of wind Power Control based on multi-source data integration is proposed, that a model is established to integrate the information of wind farm and substation. Also, software structure is designed to make SCADA, Power forecasting, active and reactive Power Control into integration. Then a wind Power Control System is designed, developed and applied in a wind farm located in Jiuquan wind Power base. The application shows that the System can make reasonable Control strategies, considering the Power demand of grid and wind energy utilization.
