  • research on anomaly detection of System call sequences of Process based on rough set reduction
    Computer Science, 2006
    Co-Authors: Zhang Yi
    Abstract:

An anomaly detection technique of System call sequence based on rough set reduction is presented in this paper. Its fundamental idea is that rough set reduction is utilized to predict the kth position of Process System call trail, i. e., the kth position is viewed as the decision attribute and the previous(k-1)positions are viewed as conditional attributes. The method of rough set reduction gives a set of minimal rules of predicting the kth System call position, thus it can apply to anomaly detection. The experiments based on synthetical sendmail System call sequences from UNM show that the proposed anomaly detection algorithm in the paper is superior to tide and comparable to the data mining algorithm of Wenke Lee, et al. in detection precision, moreover, achieves a lower negative positive rate when selecting a slightly large threshold.

  • Oak Ridge Research reactor shutdown maintenance and surveillance
    1991
    Co-Authors: G.h. Coleman, Daniel L Laughlin
    Abstract:

The Department of Energy ordered the Oak Ridge Research Reactor to be placed in permanent shutdown on July 14, 1987. The paper outlines routine maintenance activities and surveillance tests performed April through September, 1990, on the reactor instrumentation and controls, Process System, and the gaseous waste filter System. Preparations are being made to transfer the facility to the Remedial Action Program. 6 tabs. (MHB)

  • A review on superstructure optimization approaches in Process System engineering
    Computers & Chemical Engineering, 2020
Co-Authors: Luca Mencarelli, Qi Chen, Alexandre Pagot, Ignacio E. Grossmann
    Abstract:

Abstract In this paper, we survey the main superstructure-based approaches in Process System engineering, with a particular emphasis on the existing literature for automated superstructure generation. We examine both classical and more recent representations in terms of generality, ease of use, and tractability. We also discuss the implications that different representations may have on strategies for algebraic modeling and optimization. We then review the state-of-the-art in software implementations to support synthesis. Finally, we examine the use of evolutionary—recently referred to as superstructure-free—approaches, in which algorithmic procedures dynamically generate and evaluate candidate Process structures.

  • Soft component of image Processing based on strategy model
    Computer Engineering, 2005
    Co-Authors: Li Li-juan, He Ke-qing
    Abstract:

Based on the point of software reuse, a form of soft component construction was introduced to image Process System, and an application of software components in the research of digital watermarking was given. A test platform for embedding watermarking and picking up watermarking was implemented. The software component can also be used as an independent software element in other correlative software constructions. It was argued that the component-based method could be of great help for building software of image recognizing, with increased efficiency and degree of maturation in software design.
