• Electromechanical alternative of linear hydraulic tractive unit
Vysoké učení technické v Brně. Fakulta strojního inženýrství, 2008
Co-Authors: Hammer Jaroslav
Abstract:

In this diploma thesis is accomplished description of existing condition of decorating linear tractive unit. Analysis of safety requirements for linear tractive unit is also accomplished. Eligible construction concept of frame of electromechanical linear tractive unit is chosen. Selection and calculation of ball screw and nut is made also with draft of its eligible support . Choose of eligible engine and clutch for gearing of engine torque from engine to the ball screw is done too. Further is designed eligible concept of gearing of the rotary motion of ball screw to straight motion of bottom Pulley Block, which now interacting with upper firm Pulley Block provides lifting of tensile rod with coulisse

Vysoké učení technické v Brně. Fakulta strojního inženýrství, 2008
Co-Authors: Hammer Jaroslav
Abstract:

In this diploma thesis is accomplished description of existing condition of decorating linear tractive unit. • dynamic loading of the Pulley Block in a hoisting installation in normal operating conditions
Archives of Mining Sciences, 2009
Co-Authors: Stanislaw Wolny
Abstract:

In order to develop reliable criteria for assessing the working condition of hoisting installations incorporating a Pulley Block, in the context of their fatigue endurance in the function of service time and depending on the type of hoisting gear. A thorough fatigue analysis is required to find the real loads and their time variations, necessitating the study of dynamic processes during the normal operating conditions of a hoisting gear and in emergency. This study is limited to dynamic processes during the normal service. Predicted data are verified experimentally through measurements of loading of selected elements of the analysed system using a real object.

• experimental verification of bearing rope loading in typical operating conditions of the hoisting installation
Archives of Mining Sciences, 2009
Co-Authors: Stanislaw Wolny, Marek Plachno
Abstract:

Theoretical data covering the start-up of a fully loaded conveyance moving from the shaft bottom with constant acceleration and the braking of the loaded conveyance reaching the top station with constant acceleration (Wolny, 2009) are to be verified experimentally, on a real object, to confirm the adequacy of the assumed simplifications. Theoretical results: predicted force levels in conveyance attachments are to be confirmed by experimental tests. Besides, testing facilities available to the authors enabled them to verify the formulas governing the magnitude of force acting in ropes at points the rope passes onto the Pulley Block during the two phases of the hoisting operation (results are obtained for the same model of the hoisting installation).

• Comparison of the Efficacy and Duration of Three Different Methods of Digital Block
Yasuj University Of Medical Sciences, 2007
Co-Authors: M Dehghani, A Mahmoodian
Abstract:

Introduction & Objective: Finger injuries are very common and majority of them can be treated under digital Block anesthesia. Traditional digital Block is one of the most commonly performed Blocks performed by care providers in several medical fields. There are two other less known methods, transthecal (Pulley) Block, in which local anesthesia is injected into the flexor tendon sheat that needs less volume of anesthesia and hasnot neurovascular complications and subcutaneous Block in which local anesthesia is injected subcutaneously at the level of A1 Pulley. This study aimed to compare the results of the three methods of digital Block. Materials & Methods: A prospective randomized clinical trial was performed at Kashani hospital to compare the less known transthecal (Pulley) and subcutaneous methods with traditional digital Block with regard to the length of anesthesia and need to another anesthetic method (due to insufficient anesthesia) as a supplement. We divided 150 patients that were admitted to kashani hospital operating room due to finger injury, randomly, into three groups. In each group the patients were anesthetized by one of the three different methods. All Blocks were performed by the same investigator. Data were analyzed by SPSS software using T test. Results: Mean length of anesthesia was 34.2 min’s in the transthecal digital Block method and 34 min’s in the subcutaneous method and 33.8 min’s in the traditional digital Block method. A repeat injection or local infiltration as a supplement was necessary in 5 instances (7 Blocks) in the traditional digital Block method and 9 instances (11Blocks) in the subcutaneous method (p

• A revisit of transthecal digital Block and traditional digital Block for anesthesia of the finger

All Blocks were performed by the same investigator.
RESULTS: Mean length of anesthesia was 34.2 minutes in the transthecal digital Block method versus 33.8 minutes in the traditional digital Block method (P>0.05). A repeated injection or local infiltration as a supplement was necessary only in 5 instances in the traditional digital Block method (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS: Regarding fewer injections and reduced amounts of lidocaine, absence of neurovascular bundles damage and comparable length of anesthesia and no need to supplemental anesthesia, transthecal digital Block is an appropriate alternative to traditional digital Block.
KEY WORDS: Digital Block, transthecal, Pulley, finger, flexor tendon sheath.
