  • Study on Surface Quality Analysis Methods
    Application Research of Computers, 2007
    Co-Authors: Gong Guang-rong
    Abstract:

Based on the classification of all surface Quality Analysis methods, thinking, principle and computation of every method were introduced in details. And internal relations of Analysis methods based on first order differential characteristic curves were analyzed. At last, several validations about process of widely used surface Quality Analysis methods such as reflection lines, isophotes and highlight lines were expounded exhaustively. These methods were proved to be effective on surface Quality Analysis.

  • Infinite Reflection Algorithm for Surface Quality Analysis
Journal of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, 2006
    Co-Authors: Gong Guang-rong
    Abstract:

Integrating the respective virtues of reflection line algorithm and highlight line algorithm,a simplified and improved infinite reflection algorithm for surface Quality Analysis is presented. In this method, the viewpoint and the light source are mapped to infinity, and then expressed by unit vector v and a uniquely. The effect on the generation of reflection lines owing to the selection of viewpoint and light sources is eliminated. At the same time, the efficiency of highlight line algorithm is inherited and the alternate operation is fulfilled with the current hardware. The infinite reflection lines are determined by coplanar parallel linear light sources and infinite reflection circles are determined by coplanar concentric circles sources.Several examples based on the infinite reflection algorithm are provided and the infinite reflection algorithm is proved to be an ideal algorithm for surface Quality Analysis.

  • Quality Analysis of source code comments
International Conference on Program Comprehension, 2013
Co-Authors: Daniela Steidl, Benjamin Hummel, Elmar Juergens
    Abstract:

A significant amount of source code in software systems consists of comments, i. e., parts of the code which are ignored by the compiler. Comments in code represent a main source for system documentation and are hence key for source code understanding with respect to development and maintenance. Although many software developers consider comments to be crucial for program understanding, existing approaches for software Quality Analysis ignore system commenting or make only quantitative claims. Hence, current Quality analyzes do not take a significant part of the software into account. In this work, we present a first detailed approach for Quality Analysis and assessment of code comments. The approach provides a model for comment Quality which is based on different comment categories. To categorize comments, we use machine learning on Java and C/C++ programs. The model comprises different Quality aspects: by providing metrics tailored to suit specific categories, we show how Quality aspects of the model can be assessed. The validity of the metrics is evaluated with a survey among 16 experienced software developers, a case study demonstrates the relevance of the metrics in practice.

  • Application of signal processing tools for power Quality Analysis
IEEE CCECE2002. Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.02CH37373), 2002
    Co-Authors: Francisco Jurado, N. Acero, B Ogayar
    Abstract:

This paper presents the application of signal processing tools for power Quality Analysis. Three signal processing techniques are considered: the discrete Fourier transforms, the wavelet filters and the discrete short-time Fourier transforms. It is designed an adjustable speed drive with a six-pulse converter using EMTP/ATP and it is presented normal energizing of utility capacitors. Finally, each kind of electrical disturbance is analyzed with example representing each tool. A qualitative comparison of results shows the advantages and drawbacks of each signal processing technique applied to power Quality Analysis.

  • Research and Implementation of Course Teaching Quality Analysis System
    Computer Knowledge and Technology, 2012
    Co-Authors: Huang Yan
    Abstract:

Data Mining, based on Data Warehouse,is a quite active research field which deals with a wide range of disciplines including Ar tificial Intelligence,Machine Learning, and Database etc.Along with the development of techniques, how to apply the techniques of Data Mining and Data Warehouse to the education and implement the data mining on the data warehouse of the teaching Quality evaluation sys tem and subject-related data cube has become the key question of application research in the current educational field. This paper focuses on the research of the grade-centered course teaching Quality Analysis scheme which references the teaching Quality evaluation system ad opted by Educational Administration Office, designs and implements a"Course Teaching Quality Analysis System"based on Delphi. After briefly introducing the conception of Data Warehouse and OLAP,this paper describes the design of the Analysis model and data model of the system, and shows the results of OLAP on information of course teaching Quality Analysis.

  • new signal processing tools applied to power Quality Analysis
IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 1999
Co-Authors: O Poisson, Patrick Rioual, Michel Meunier
    Abstract:

This paper deals with the comparison of new signal processing tools for power Quality Analysis. Three new signal processing techniques are considered: the continuous wavelet transform, the multiresolution Analysis and the quadratic transform. Their theoretical behaviours are investigated using the basic theory of the Fourier transform. Then, examples of the four most frequent disturbances met in the power system are chosen. Finally, each kind of electrical disturbance is analyzed with example representing each tool. A qualitative comparison of results shows the advantages and drawbacks of each new signal processing technique applied to voltage disturbance Analysis. The continuous wavelet transform appears to be a reliable method for detecting and measuring voltage sags, flicker and transients in power Quality Analysis.
