    Objective To construct theoretical framework of the working mode in orthopedic Rehabilitation Nursing.Methods System analysis method was used to define the concept of working mode,and factors analysis and structure analysis were performed.Results The working mode of orthopedic Rehabilitation Nursing means the way to organize,implement and control the Rehabilitation Nursing practice,and it contains organization structure,working schedule,working procedures and quality control.Conclusion Establishment of working mode framework in orthopedic Rehabilitation Nursing will provide theoretical basis and improve the orthopedic Rehabilitation Nursing.

    Abstract:

    Objective To investigate the knowledge and attitude of Rehabilitation Nursing among orthopedic nurses in Shanghai,and pro- vide basis for the effective orthopedic Rehabilitation,Method By using the method of stratified randomly sampling method,282 ortho- pedic nurses from several third-class hospitals and second-class hospitals in Shanghai were recruited and investigated with a self- designed questionnaire,Result The orthopedic nurses showed good attitude towards Rehabilitation Nursing,but lack of Rehabilitation Nursing knowledge,There were significant differences among nurses with different educational level and working years(P0.05). Conclusion It is suggested to pay attention to the status of nurses' lack of Rehabilitation Nursing knowledge,strengthen education and training of Rehabilitation Nursing knowledge for orthopedic nurses,stuff rundle construction of orthopedic Nursing talents.

  • THE INVESTIGATION AND COUNTERMEASURE OF CURRENT SITUATION OF ORTHOPEDICS Rehabilitation Nursing IN PART OF HOSPITALS IN SICHUAN

    Abstract:

    [Objective] To investigate the current situation of orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing in part of hospitals of Sichuan province to improve orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing effect.[Methods] The current situation of orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing were investigated with questionnaires among 60 random selected orthopedics nurses in part of tertiary and secondary hospital of Sichuan province who work as orthopedics nurses over one year.SPSS13.0 software was performed to analyze the data.[Results] The mean score of the orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing assessment was 3.69,the mean score of functional exercise guidance was 3.63,ADL exercise guidance was 3.52,health education was 3.63,psychological Nursing was 3.96,out-patient health education and follow-up visit was 3.29.There was no obvious differences among different educational backgrounds about most of the Rehabilitation behavior(P﹥0.05).Different nurses with different job title had statistics difference in the score of Rehabilitation Nursing assessment,functional exercise guidance and ADL exercise guidance.Different nurses with different working time had statistics difference in the score of all of the 6 aspects about Rehabilitation Nursing behavior.[Conclusion] The highest score of orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing behavior is psychological Nursing,the second highest is Rehabilitation Nursing assessment,then is functional exercise guidance,health education,ADL exercise guidance and the lowest one is out-patient health education and follow-up visit.The scores of the 6 aspects of Rehabilitation Nursing behavior are all affected by working time.However,the scores of Rehabilitation Nursing assessment,functional exercise guidance and ADL exercise guidance are affected by job title.The current situation of orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing behavior needs to be improved.So we need to set up the position of professional orthopedics Rehabilitation nurses.Meanwhile,we must establish the new mode of early Rehabilitation of orthopedics patients to promote the level of orthopedics Rehabilitation Nursing.

  • Survey on Rehabilitation Nursing Needs of Patients with Stroke in Tieying Community

    Abstract:

    Objective To understand the function of community and family in caring cerebral stroke patients,and needs of patients for Rehabilitation Nursing,and to find out the problem existed in Rehabilitation Nursing of communitys.Methods A total of 101 patients with first attack of cerebral stroke from Tie Ying community were randomly divided into two groups(51 in experiment group and 50 in control group).A self-designed questionnaire was used to research the needs of Rehabilitation Nursing before and after the experiment.Results According to the statistics,both of the two groups had various and different needs for Rehabilitation Nursing.Conclusion The services,skills and ability of community Rehabilitation Nursing need to be improved;the ission of community health education,prevention and control of risk factors and standardization of chronic diseases management are quite necessary.The family members of the patient should furthest stimulate the family functions of patients and help the patients recover in a better way.

    Abstract:

    In 2005, the board of directors of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) directed the Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation (RNF) to evaluate and revise the Rehabilitation Nursing Research Agenda. Following a review of the processes used by other Nursing organizations to evaluate their research agendas, RNF first evaluated the effectiveness of the agenda, and then RNF embarked on a process to update and revise the agenda. The process included generating new and revised statements of research priorities based on the evaluation process, followed by a survey of members of ARN to rate the relevance of each statement to the profession. The results are a new Rehabilitation Nursing Research Agenda consisting of 19 statements of research priorities grouped into four categories. This new agenda has the potential to drive Rehabilitation Nursing research for the next 10 years.

    From 1993 to 1995, under the direction of the board of directors of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN), the Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation (RNF) created a research agenda for the field, which was published in 1996. The goal of the agenda was to identify a broad range of issues in Rehabilitation practice that could be examined to advance the scientific knowledge base. Ten years later, the board of directors of ARN directed RNF to evaluate and update the agenda. A committee of three ARN members was formed to undertake this task. This article reports the committee's evaluation of the 1996 Rehabilitation Nursing Research Agenda. A separate article reports on the process of revising the agenda.

    Abstract:

    Objective To dicuss the Rehabilitation Nursing of patients with total knee arthroplasty in perioperation.Methods 58 patients undergone total knee arthroplasty admitted into our hospital from March 2011 to May 2012 were selected.They were provided with functional exercise guidance before surgery,assessment guidance during surgery,con-siderate Rehabilitation Nursing and discharge instruction after surgery.The functional status of these patients ′ knees was assessed when they left hospital,and Nursing effect was observed. Results All participants were followed up from 6months to 2 years after discharge,with reference to American knee society score(KSS) of total knee arthroplasty,the scores of 58 patients was from 76 to 94 points,with an average of 85 points.In the aspect of functional status,the scores varied from 74 to 92 points,with an average of 84 points. Conclusion The comprehensive Rehabilitation Nursing in patients after total knee arthroplasty in perioperation is of significance in functional recovery of the knees.
