  • Endoscopic electric coagulation for 2 cases with Respiratory Tract Tumor
Journal of Xinjiang Medical University, 2006
    Co-Authors: Li Rui-guang
    Abstract:

Objective: To explore the effect of Respiratory Tract's Tumor using bronchoscope and gastroscope. Methods: Under the general anesthesia, the Tumor were excised with electric coagulation via electro-snare, combining use of high-fernquency jetting ventilation, ECG monitoring and bronchoscope and gastroscope. Results: Tumor were complete ablated and the wound surfaces without hemosshage after excision. Conclusion: It was less injury. fast healing and little cost by excising with electric coagulation for Respiratory Tract Tumor.

  • Tracheal and carinal resection and reconstruction, and bronchoplasty and pulmonary arterioplasty in the treatment of Respiratory Tract Tumor
    China Clinical Practical Medicine, 2008
    Co-Authors: Feng Zhong, Gui-rong Chen
    Abstract:

Objective To summarize the clinical practical experience of tracheal and carinal resection and reconstruction, and bronchoplasty and pulmonary arteriophsty in the surgical treatment of Respiratory Tract Tumor. To investigate the rationalization of the surgjcal methods and treatable tactics. Methods From January 1998 to March 2008,the clinical datas of surgical treatment of twenty-four patients with Respiratory Tract Tumor who underwent ten patterns of tracheal and carinal resection and reconstruction, and bronchoplasty and pulmonary arterioplasty were retrospectively analyzed. Results Four cases received palliative operation;Four patients (4.17%)died in the perioperative period;6(25.00%)patients had operative complications; The 1-,3-and 5-year survival rates for Respiratory Tract malignant Tumor were 72.3%,51.6%and 20.4%,respectively.Conclusion Proper selection of trachea and carinal resection and reconstruction, and bronchoplasty and pulmonary arterioplasty can decrease the proportions of total pneumonectomy and exploratory thoracotomy and expand the indcation of operation, and can improve the postoperative quality of life and the prognosis of Respiratory Tract Tumor. Key words: Trachea neoplasms; Tracheal and carinal reconstruction; Bronchoplasty; Pulmonary arterioplasty

  • Analysis of the Pathogenic Bacteria and Drug Resistance of Nosocomial Infection in Patients with Lower Respiratory Tract in Tumor
The Practical Journal of Cancer, 2008
    Co-Authors: Tang Yi-cong
    Abstract:

Objective To investigate the pathogenic bacteria and the drug resistance of nosocomial infection in hospitalized patients with lower Respiratory Tract Tumor. Methods The results of pathogenic bacteria and drug resistance test of 326 hospitalized patients with the lower Respiratory Tract Tumor were retrospectively analyzed. Results A total of 342 strains of bacteria were isolated.Of the 342 bacteria,53.2% were Gram-negative,18.7% were Gram-positive,and 28.1% were fungus infections. The most common pathogens in the Gram-negative bacteria were Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Escherichia coli and Klebsiella;and the most common Gram-positive pathogen was Staphylococcus aureus.Mixed infection by two pathogens was seen in 48.6%,of which 65.4% were Gram-negative bacteria mixed with fungus. All isolated pathogenic bacteria were resistant to commonly used antibiotic in different levels. The pathogens were highly resistant to penicillin and ampicillin and sensitive to imipenem/ cilastatin. All Staphylococcus anrens were sensitive to vancomycin. Conclusion Most pathogens in patients with lower Respiratory Tract Tumor are the Gram-negative,with highly resistant to commonly used antibiotics.Pathogen culture and drug sensitive test should be done before the use of any antibiotics.

  • Analysis of the causes related to 730 death cases of childbearing women
Maternal and Child Health Care of China, 2008
    Co-Authors: Liao Shui
    Abstract:

Objective:To learn the factors related to the death of childbearing women in Shaoguan city and provide knowledge of formulating interventions,so as to lower the mortality of childbearing women and improve maternal health thereby. Methods:The death of childbearing women resided permanently in Shanguan city from 1998 to2006 was analyzed retrospectively. Results:According to the 730 death cases of childbearing women in Shaoguan city, the main death causes of which were malignant Tumor(39.32%) and accidental death(29.32%).Among the death causes of malignant Tumor, the first 3 systemic diseases were orderly digestive Tract Tumor,Respiratory Tract Tumor and breast cancer, but the first single disease was breast cancer. The main death causes of accidental death were traffic accident and suicide. The main cause of death was changed with the age of childbearing woman, and there was statistical difference(P0.001)between the constituent ratio of the death of malignant Tumor and accidental death. Conclusion:More efforts should be made on reducing the occurring rate of malignant Tumor and accidental death to lower the mortality of childbearing women. As to the health-care education, the emphasis of the content should be varied with the age of childbearing women. For the elder childbearing women,in order to reduce the occurring rate of malignant Tumor,it should be more emphasized and educated more widely that the self-prevention knowledge of cancer, especially the self-examination of breast cancer, together with the improvement of the prevention and cure of Tumor. For the younger childbearing women, more attention should be paid to the cultivation of high psychological quality by use of the education of philosophy of life and moral concept,so as to lower the occurring rate of accidental death.
