  • DESIGN OF RESISTOR-LESS FIRST-ORDER ALL-PASS FILTER USING SINGLE VDVTA (VOLTAGE DIFFERENCING VOLTAGE TRANSCONDUCATNCE AMPLIFIER)
    2016
    Co-Authors: Mahmoud Shaktour
    Abstract:

This paper presents a new realization of a first-order mixed-mode (Voltage input Current output) (MM) all-pass filter (APF) using the recently proposed modern active building block (ABB), namely the Voltage Differencing Voltage Transconductance Amplifier (VDVTA). The MM APF is made using minimum number of components, namely a single VDVTA and one grounded capacitor. The circuit does not use any external resistors and offers the advantages of current-tunable pole frequency, low input impedance and high output impedance. PSPICE simulation results are included to verify the workability of the circuit. 1. INTRODUCTON The recently proposed mixed-mode (MM) active building block (ABB), namely the voltage differencing voltage transconductance amplifier (VDVTA) [1], has been found to be versatile for MM signal processing and its use has reportedly provided several circuit solutions. These primarily consist of the design of MM filters [2], and sinusoidal oscillators (including quadrature and multi-phase oscillators) [3]. The motivation of this paper is to propose a minimum component VDVTA based first-order MM all-pass filter (APF). APFs are very important circuits for many analog signal processing applications and are used, generally, in phase equalization and for introducing a frequency dependent delay while keeping the amplitude of the input signal constant over the desired frequency range. 2. VDVTA The VDVTA element [1], [4] with its Schematic Symbol in Fig. 1 (a) has a pair of high-impedance voltage inputs p and n, an auxiliary terminals z and zc, and high-impedance current outputs x. Multiple copies of Iz current are indicated here in order to increase the universality of VDVTA element. Thus, according to th

  • research of the use of Schematic Symbol in fuzhou image poster design
    Journal of Minjiang University, 2011
    Co-Authors: Chen Jie
    Abstract:

Urban constructions increasingly pay attention to model their own image.Poster art is especially important in visual image of cities.Conceptual, induction, thoughtful and creative graphic language in the poster should be used flexibly.Putting this design idea into visual image poster in fuzhou, and breaking through the past creation concept and single design routines which is using live picture as the poster theme, then turned to the direction with richer connotation and more creative design. In the process of figure producing and application in fuzhou, refined and induced native culture and regional characteristic, poster can be very national and regional, thus the artistry and dreative of poster for modelling visual mage in fuzhou will be improved.

  • REMOTE ACCESS TO Schematic DRAWINGS
    2016
    Co-Authors: Bruce P. Berra, Dean H. Wilson
    Abstract:

Summary--An electronic information system for storing, transmitting, receiving and displaying electrical circuit Schematics is presented. The Schematics are binary coded for computer storage and for transmission over telephone grade communications lines. A complete Schematic can be transmitted in a matter of a few seconds with no degradation i the image quality. A standard set of Schematic Symbols and the associated alphanumeric characters are stored at the receiver in the character matrix of a shaped beam tube. Only the information as to the location of each Schematic Symbol in the character matrix and the organization of the Schematic Symbols is stored and transmitted

  • chapter 1 Schematic capture
    Fabricating Printed Circuit Boards, 2002
    Co-Authors: Jon Varteresian
    Abstract:

This chapter describes the importance of Schematic capture in designing of printed circuit boards. A Schematic Symbol is a simplified representation of a real-world component. A Schematic diagram shows such representations of real-world components and a simplified map of how they are connected together. Each Symbol contains a graphic, or drawing, that represents the part or its function. The graphic is usually referred to as a component body. Each Symbol needs to have a name that the Schematic tool can refer to. This name is usually referred to as a component name. A component name for a Symbol is similar in function to a file name for a file. The component body also has lines coming off it called pins that represent the connections to the part itself. The first step in generating a Schematic is to create Symbols for all the components. It is found that the exact details of the process vary with the Schematic capture tool.
