    Although many of the concepts included in cyber Security Awareness Training are universal, such Training often must be tailored to address the policies and requirements of a particular organization. In addition, many forms of Training fail because they are rote and do not require users to think about and apply Security concepts. A flexible, highly interactive video game, CyberCIEGE, is described as a Security Awareness tool that can support organizational Security Training objectives while engaging typical users in an engaging Security adventure. The game is now being successfully utilized for information assurance education and Training by a variety of organizations. Preliminary results indicate the game can also be an effective addition to basic information Awareness Training programs for general computer users (e.g., annual Awareness Training.)

    Abstract:

    This paper aims to develop an information Security Awareness Training program for the healthcare industry to ensure the appropriate protection of electronic health systems. Serious games are primarily designed for Training purposes rather than pure entertainment. Serious games are proven as an effective Training approach for Awareness programs. Serious games benefit learning as the games are fun to play and motivate learners to participate and interact with learning activities. Developing a serious game requires the revision of adequate guidelines that identify all characteristics to be incorporated in such games. Thus, this paper reviews serious game models that have been constructed as game development guidelines. To this end, a serious game is developed and implemented at a selected healthcare organization.

    Human errors are known as the most serious threats to information Security in Electronic Health Record systems. Nevertheless, human errors can be prevented through effective information Security Awareness Training programs. Even though there is an increasing number of Training and Awareness programs in the area of information Security, there is limited evidence to verify their effectiveness in a real job environment. The aim of this paper is to review and evaluate some of the existing guidelines for developing an Awareness Training program. These guidelines can help organizations to identify Security Awareness Training needs and develop a Training plan. However, Despite the valuable inputs provided by these guidelines, there are shortcomings that are discussed in this paper.

    Abstract:

    Electronic Health Record (EHR) becomes increasingly pervasive and the need to safeguard EHR becomes more vital for healthcare organizations. Human error is known as the biggest threat to information Security in Electronic Health Systems that can be minimized through Awareness Training programs. There are various techniques available for Awareness of information Security. However, research is scant regarding effective information Security Awareness delivery methods. It is essential that effective Awareness Training delivery method is selected, designed, and executed to ensure the appropriate protection of organizational assets. This study adapts Holton’s transfer of Training model to develop a framework for effective information Security Awareness Training program. The framework provides guidelines for organizations to select an effective delivery method based on the organizations’ needs and success factor, and to create information Security content from a selected healthcare’s internal information Security policy and related international standards. Organizations should make continual efforts to ensure that content of policy is effectively communicated to the employees.

    Abstract:

    CyberSecurity is no longer an issue discussed only between the professionals or technologists, but it is also closely related to ordinary people whose daily life is exposed to kinds of cyberattacks. And Womabat Security Technologies conducted a survey revealed that ransomware is an unknown concept to nearly two-thirds of employees. In practical, almost 95% of cyberSecurity attacks are due to human error. At fact, expensive and sophisticated systems cannot work effectively without considering the human factor, while human factor is the major vulnerability in cyberSecurity. Thus, it has great significance to give people cyberSecurity Awareness Training. In this paper, we present a system, named ASURA, providing adaptive Training aimed at improving cyberSecurity Awareness of people. Three issues can’t be neglected in adaptive cyberSecurity Awareness Training, as follows. Firstly, we need to decide the proper Training contents from the huge Training materials. Secondly, the Training contents should be timely updated, as cyber attacks constantly changing. At last, we should conduct Training through effective and acceptable approach. We solved above three issues in this paper, and the innovative idea of this paper is constructing hierarchical concept map from the LOD database DBpedia. Then, we employ a series of processing on hierarchical concept map, including PageRank algorithm used to calculate the importance of each concept node, and filtering used to filtered out undefined and unrelated concepts. In particular, we get Training contents from DBpedia dynamically and timely updated, so that Training contents is keeping up to date. ASURA delivered Training contents completely online, thus significant trimmed budget and allowed learners accessing Training outside of a traditional classroom. Moreover, ASURA provide adaptive Training targeted to individual learner, as it generate Training contents based on the keyword from the learner.
