  • Semantic Relationship discovery with wikipedia structure
International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2011
    Co-Authors: Yu Hao, Xiaoyan Zhu
    Abstract:

Thanks to the idea of social collaboration, Wikipedia has accumulated vast amount of semi-structured knowledge in which the link structure reflects human's cognition on Semantic Relationship to some extent. In this paper, we proposed a novel method RCRank to jointly compute concept-concept relatedness and concept-category relatedness base on the assumption that information carried in concept-concept links and concept-category links can mutually reinforce each other. Different from previous work, RCRank can not only find Semantically related concepts but also interpret their relations by categories. Experimental results on concept recommendation and relation interpretation show that our method substantially outperforms classical methods.

  • knowledge management and reuse in collaborative product development a Semantic Relationship management based approach
International Journal of Product Lifecycle Management, 2014
Co-Authors: Ibrahim Assouroko, Guillaume Ducellier, Philippe Boutinaud, Benoît Eynard
    Abstract:

In the current globalised context of industry, constant improvement of competitiveness remains a major issue for companies. Through the past few years, considering the latest technological advances, product complexity, as well as related manufacturing processes has increased. Nowadays, product lifecycle management systems are seen to be essential and strategic components of enterprise information system in order to harmonise collaborative data management especially in the collaborative product development. Considering knowledge management and reuse purposes, it is not currently the case when product data distributed in various and heterogeneous information systems must be browsed. In such a context, methods and tools for information and knowledge extraction (from heterogeneous systems) and visualisation play an important role, given their capacity to extract, represent and organise the engineering information and knowledge throughout the whole product lifecycle. The paper proposes a Semantic Relationship ...

  • Semantic Relationship Based Knowledge Management and Reuse in Collaborative Product Development
    2012
Co-Authors: Ibrahim Assouroko, Guillaume Ducellier, Benoît Eynard, Philippe Boutinaud
    Abstract:

Latest technological advances, driven by an increased industrial competitiveness, lead to the development of more complex technical products, which implement technologies from multiple fields of expertise (mechanics, electronics…). The successful design of such kind of products requires the ability of the involved team to communicate, collaborate and integrate their knowledge and know how. This usually causes data integrity problems, making it more difficult to access product information and knowledge distributed in various and heterogeneous systems, for knowledge management and reuse purposes. In such a context of knowledge management, methods and tools for information extraction and visualization play a major role, given their capacity to extract, represent and organize engineering information and knowledge throughout product lifecycle. The paper proposes a Semantic Relationship based management approach to improve product Beginning Of Life (BOL).

  • graph based e government web service composition
    arXiv: Artificial Intelligence, 2011
Co-Authors: Hajar Elmaghraoui, Imane Zaoui, Dalila Chiadmi, Laila Benhlima
    Abstract:

Nowadays, e-government has emerged as a government policy to improve the quality and efficiency of public administrations. By exploiting the potential of new information and communication technologies, government agencies are providing a wide spectrum of online services. These services are composed of several web services that comply with well defined processes. One of the big challenges is the need to optimize the composition of the elementary web services. In this paper, we present a solution for optimizing the computation effort in web service composition. Our method is based on Graph Theory. We model the Semantic Relationship between the involved web services through a directed graph. Then, we compute all shortest paths using for the first time, an extended version of the FloydWarshall algorithm.
