A study of regimes of operation with a Sliding Pressure for supercritical-Pressure boilers modernized to improve their environmental characteristics
Thermal Engineering, 2003Co-Authors: B. N. GluskerAbstract:The results of tests of several supercritical-Pressure (SCP) boilers of 250/300 MW capacity, which were modernized in order to improve their environmental characteristics, are presented. The tests were conducted while maintaining a Sliding Pressure along the entire steam-water path.

Commercial tests in mastering start-ups of the boiler of a T-250 supercritical Pressure power unit under a Sliding Pressure along the entire flowpath
Thermal Engineering, 2000Co-Authors: A. L. Shvarts, V. I. Gombolevskii, B. N. Glusker, Yu. A. Radin, G. G. Gorlanov, B. N. NosovAbstract:Results are presented of commercial tests in mastering start-ups of the TGMP-344A boiler, having three separated radiation waterwall sections, under a Sliding Pressure along the entire flowpath. The boiler is a part of a T-250 supercritical Pressure power unit at cogeneration power station TETs-26 of Mosenergo.

Development of a procedure for starting up a 300-MW power-generating unit with a TGMP-114 boiler under a Sliding Pressure at the Kostroma district power station
Thermal Engineering, 2000Co-Authors: B. N. Glusker, B. N. Nosov, V. A. Shcheptev, O. E. Taran, A. I. PlatovAbstract:The results of experimental start-ups of a 300-MW supercritical-Pressure power-generating unit with a TGMP-114 boiler under a Sliding Pressure throughout the steam-water circuit without using outside steam are discussed. The reliability of the retrofitted starting scheme of the power-generating unit was estimated. The algorithm for its start-up was developed. The reliability of the heating surfaces of the given boiler under the conditions studied was demonstrated.
-
Tests of a 300-MW two-boiler single-turbine power unit with a TGMP-114 boiler when starting with a Sliding Pressure throughout the water-steam circuit
Thermal Engineering, 1997Co-Authors: B. N. Glusker, V. M. Kalinitchev, V. A. Shcheptev, G. V. Garnov, O. E. Taran, A. I. PlatovAbstract:Results of tests for starting the TGMP-114 boiler of a 300-MW power unit under Sliding Pressure conditions throughout the circuit are presented. The reliability of the heating surfaces was assessed, and a control algorithm for such starting conditions was improved. The feasibility of starting a 300-MW power unit without using any steam from external sources is shown.

Studying the reliability of steam-generating heating surfaces of a type PK-67 boiler while introducing Sliding-Pressure startup technology over the entire steam-water path
Thermal Engineering, 2005Co-Authors: A. L. Shvarts, V. I. Gombolevskii, A. A. Chugreev, V. F. Peters, V. A. Savost'vanov, V. N. PetrovAbstract:Resulls of studying the reliability of the steam-generating heating surfaces of a type PK-67 boiler of the 800-MW power unit of the Berezovo GRES-1, including waterwalls of the convective shaft, while implementing Sliding-Pressure startup technology over the entire steam-water path, are presented. Based on a comparative analysis, the advantages of Sliding-Pressure startup technology are shown as compared to the standard startup technology at nominal Pressure.
